"Hey, Yuna-chan," Nisha greeted her friend the next morning in the schoolyard.

"Morning, Nisha."

Alarmed, the cat girl eyed the blue-haired. "You look awful. What happened?"

"Nothing. Had a crappy night," the taller girl fought off while she marched on.

"Period pains?"

Abruptly Yuna stopped and turned around. She hadn't thought of that. "Fuck. I forgot about that."

The class representative raised an eyebrow. "Hey, is everything alright? You're kind of awkward." Worried, she looked at her friend.

The Masuda girl remembered. Yesterday she had felt no pain. As she thought about it, it was too early for her to have her period anyway. Or had she used her power all the time? For control, she pinched her forearm, but could feel it.

Where did the pain come from? Her expression hardened as she stared at the ground, pondering.

"Yuna-chan ..." Gently, the gray-haired put her hand on the other girl's shoulder. "You really don't look so good. Maybe you should go to the school nurse."

"Forget it. I'm fine. Let's go." Yuna broke away and walked off.

"I should greet you from Wada-san," the cat girl squeaked as she stumbled afterward.

"Thank you. How is she doing?"

"She missed you yesterday. I explained it to her, but she was not happy that I came by alone."

"Was she nice to you?"

"At least not condescending." Nisha shrugged. "She really tried."

"Okay. Hey, if you don't mind, I'll bring her the homework alone today, okay?" It sounded less like a question than an instruction.

The class representative nodded quickly. "No problem."

"Good." Yuna pulled out her cell phone and typed something, then put it away.

"How did the meeting go yesterday?" Nisha asked.

"Hm ... okay."

"Exciting. Have you already signed something?"

Shaking her head, the blue-haired girl answered, "No. There were ... complications."

"Did Haruka cause trouble?"

"No, no ... I don't want to talk about it, okay?"

Imperceptibly, the gray-haired twitched. "Oh ... of course."

Throughout the day, Nisha tormented a feeling that something was wrong with her friend. In class, the blue-haired acted absent-minded and didn't even care to scribble in her notebook as usual.

She racked her brains but couldn't draw any conclusions except that something had gone wrong yesterday. Maybe she had to talk to her 'mother' to find out what was going on.

"Are you sure I shouldn't come along?" the class representative asked as they strolled to the exit gate after school.

"Yes. I arranged a little surprise for Hikari to cheer her up a bit." Yuna ignored her friend's questioning gaze and scanned the entrance portal until she noticed a small crowd of people. "Oh no."

"What?" Nisha wondered. The blue-haired pointed to the gathering. "What's this?"

"The idiot has actually come to the school grounds." Angrily, the taller girl snorted.
