Tirr lay snoring in his sleeping place. He had watched TV late into the night and then fell asleep. He had actually managed to destroy nothing, because Yukiko had given him enough space around his upholstery so he could roll around.

Something hit him in the face and he woke up confused. He grabbed the pillow on his head and pushed it aside. "What?"

"Good morning." Wide-grinning, Marika knelt in her pajamas next to his upholstery pile.

"Morning." The oni looked around. "Where is your mother?"

"At work."

Discomfort spread through him as he looked at the brown-haired, who was watching him attentively. He looked down at himself as he realized she was staring at his muscular torso. He wasn't particularly well built, but his wiry frame looked well-toned - his muscles defined. And for sleeping, he had taken off his jacket, to avoid damaging it.

"I see," he whispered as he looked around for his jacket.

"What do you want to do today?" the girl inquired.

"Don't you have to go to school?"

"No. I don't feel so well." He looked again at the high-school student, who made a healthy impression to him. "So, what are we going to do today?"

Tirr sighed. "Marika-chan... your mother..."

"Don't be a spoilsport." She sat down cross-legged beside him.

"Marika-chan, please. I don't want to upset your mother," Tirr protested.

"So you stay in this room and watch TV all day?" She pointed to the windows. "Out there is the real world, Tirr-san. You will not learn more anywhere than out there." She stared at him with her lips pressed together.

He had to admit, that he was excited to explore the city and its inhabitants. "But if your mother..."

"What Mama doesn't know..." She looked at him encouragingly.

"... won't hurt her." Tirr grinned.

"Exactly. Come on, get dressed. We go out." Marika sprang up without saying anything and disappeared into her room.

She had already thought about her clothes and prepared an outfit. The brown-haired girl quickly slipped out of her pajamas and changed her clothes. She had recently bought a cute top in sky blue, which was decorated with small ribbons. She took a white skirt that she had permanently borrowed from her mother. And she wanted to wear her light linen shoes.

It seemed a bit like she was getting ready for a date. Not that she had one before. She was raving about one of her Senpai, but he didn't seem to know or bother about her feelings.

In a good mood, she stepped out of her room and saw Tirr in the hall, whereupon her mood fell like a meteorite to earth and sank into the ground.

"Are you serious?!" she exclaimed as she came over to him with a snort. He had actually only put on her mother's stupid coat.

"What?" Tirr looked at her questioningly.

"That won't work. You look like a homeless person."

"I am homeless."

Energetically, Marika shook her head. "No. This will not do. We can't go out like this."

The oni unbuttoned the coat. "I can take it off."

"No!" Already, she stared back at his hairless chest. "No. We... buy something for you to wear. I saved a few yen."
