How the hell do I bring these two apart?

Yuna looked with disgusted expression at her best friend and her enemy as they sat together and chatted. Hikari could tell Yukiko everything about her. That was a source of danger not to be underestimated.

As she studied them, she focused on Yukiko's human form. How did she manage to change her appearance? She had no resemblance to the waitress at Me's. Visually, this was a completely different person. Although she seemed more mature than the other students, she would only be considered a senior.

"That looks really good. What do you mean, Yuna-chan?" Nisha asked.

The addressed girl was still staring at her seat. Rin shook her shoulder, whereupon she started out of her trance. "What?!"

"What are you dreaming about?" The spectacle wearer grinned smugly. "Narusegawa-san asked for your opinion."

"Oh yeah. Super. Everything's great."

The cat girl squinted over to Hikari, who was talking to the ice oni. "Don't worry."

"The new girl almost throws herself at Wada. Do they know each other?" Rin wondered.

"No. Probably, Hikari wants to get back at me because I made friends with Nisha."

The class representative quickly raised her hands and waved them in front of her upper body. "That's not true. She wouldn't do that."

"Doesn't matter..." Yuna snorted and ran her fingers through her hair. "Let her do what she wants."

"I don't want to come across pushy or anything, but will you come to the Kendo training afterwards? I think some distraction would do you good, Yuna-chan."

The blue-haired girl looked doubtfully at Rin before nodding. "You're probably right, Rin-chan."

"You can just get back in on the basic exercises. And who knows, suddenly you're fully back." Grinning, she adjusted her glasses.

"Yes, sure."

"So... what do we want to do with the two lovebirds?" Rin asked.

Wondering, the cat girl frowned. "What should we do with them?"

"Well... what tasks should we assign them to for the school festival?"

"Hm... difficult. We actually distributed all tasks. Hikari has a shift in the cafe in the evening."

As if on cue, the black-haired girl looked over, rose from her seat, and came quickly closer. "Hey guys."

"Hello," the others replied.

"Can you do me a favor, Yuna-chan?"

"What do you want?" From the hardness in her classmate's voice, Rin and Nisha exchanged an uncertain look.

"Can we trade our shifts? I want to attend the Wakamino concert in the evening and it collides with my schedule."

The blue-haired girl blinked in surprise. She hadn't asked when Wataru and the band would play. On the other hand, they avoided each other since the unpleasant Saturday night, and she would have preferred to stick to that until grass had grown over this matter.

She also didn't have the deployment plan in mind. She only knew that her assignment was in the morning.

"Um..." She squinted to the oni in the classroom, who looked over with a grin. Did Yukiko suggest this idea to mess with her? No... She couldn't possibly be informed about the whole process and connections.
