"𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐎?" A young girl called out in retaliation to the dreadful snapping sound of a twig breaking from behind her. She jerked her head around, eyes scanning over the area in desperation that she'd see a familiar face emerge from the shadows and ease her of her daunting fear. She was in the middle of the woods at the peak of night ⏤ alone; vulnerable.

"Hello?" She called out once more, this time slightly louder. Though once again there was no reply and so the blonde hesitantly wondered a little deeper into the clusters of trees. The shafts of moonlight painted beautiful shadows onto the forest floors as she walked, though the suffocating darkness around her and strange symphony of noises devoured her full attention.

She stopped abruptly as several branches and fallen leaves snapped and crumpled beneath what she feared to be footsteps. She swallowed back her alarm whilst her eyes darted between the trees at every sudden noise. Eventually, the presumable footsteps sounding in the near-distance began growing louder; closer.

She spun around, expecting to see someone or something, but nothing. No one was there yet the footsteps were so loud that she was almost certain there was someone standing right beside her. And she was right to be afraid as she wasn't the only one in the woods that night.

The overbearing silence of the woodland was soon broken by the young girl's deafening scream before once again everything went quiet and the girl's vision subdued into darkness.

Olivia's eyes fluttered open reluctantly and she bit down on her inner cheek at the migraine making itself present in her skull. She let out a heavy breath, pulling away from the strange rush of adrenaline she had during the vision-like dream. She felt her heart ⏤ beating erratically moments prior ⏤ now began to subdue to a rhythmic pattern.

Her eyes glared blandly at the familiar white ceiling of her bedroom; rays of light flooded in through her window and resulted in the girl squinting her eyes significantly before her vision adjusted. Eventually, she shifted her gaze to the rest of her room ⏤ sparse amounts of empty furniture remained amongst several cardboard boxes; all sealed with packing tape and stacked by the door.

The girl pulled herself from her bed, leaving the warmth of her thick white covers and lacing both bare feet on the cold wooden floorboards beneath her before trailing forward, her hand effortlessly lingering over a set of wooden drawers before she neared a large mirror that was leaning against the back wall. She peered into the reflective glass, lazily glimpsing over her appearance.

She brushed a few stray pieces of tangled blonde hair behind her ear before fixing the pendant of her necklace and aligning it properly. A light sigh left her lips as her gaze flickered back to the leftover moving boxes in her room that she figured she should move into her car. She was only bringing the necessities with her; personal items, clothes, spellbooks she'd obtained over the years and her countless amount of leather-bound sketchbooks. Everything else she needed should already be there Mystic Falls.
