"𝐍𝐎, absolutely not, out of the question," the younger Salvatore protested persistently against Olivia's idea ⏤ though he could hardly call it that, it was more of a suicide mission. He shook his head vehemently to emphasise his point, taking to pacing in front of the couch where the blonde was lounged nonchalantly, her eyes following every agitated movement.

"What else are we supposed to do, Stefan?" She retaliated.

Stefan stopped pacing, pausing in front of the girl. "There has to be another way ⏤ one that doesn't include risking your life."

"I'm open to other suggestions..." she trailed off, waiting expectantly for a reply. "Anytime now." She added, though as she suspected no sound left his mouth with the exception of an exhausted sigh. "Exactly my point."

Damon, hearing indistinct voices from inside, entered the Boarding House silently, walking through the strangely wide-open door before instantly allowing his eyes to scan the parlour room, glimpsing over Stefan though resting on Olivia. As per usual, his brother was wearing a frustrated expression as he looked back at the girl ⏤ neither of the two seemingly noticing his presence just yet.

"You're not being the distraction," Stefan reaffirmed firmly making Damon narrow his gaze sceptically as he tried to comprehend what they were talking about.

"Come on Stefan distracting people is what I do best," she countered with a dignified and light-hearted smile that didn't do much to ease Stefan's loitering neves. "Who else is better suited for this?"

"What are we talking about?" Damon questioned in his usual manner, progressing further into the room and interjecting himself into the conversation. Both Stefan and Olivia's eyes dated to Damon as he entered, glimpsing over Maddox's body carelessly. "And who's that?" He queried before reaffirming his eyes on the others; Olivia specifically.

The tribrid met his gaze for a moment before breaking eye-contact uncomfortably.

"A witch Liv killed in the woods today," Stefan sighed. "He words for Klaus but it's not important. What is important, is that he has Tyler and Caroline held up in the tomb and Olivia thinks it's a good idea to distract him whilst I get them out." He informed his brother causing the blonde to shoot him a brief glare seeing as he'd just revealed their entire plan to the person who'd disagree with it the most.

"We don't have time for this." Olivia murmured, getting up from the couch and taking several steps towards the door only for Stefan's words to stop her.

"We're not doing it." Stefan countered, glancing at the girl who was moments away from objecting. "Even if we did, we can find someone else to play the... distraction." He mimicked her use of words.
