𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐀 climbed up the side of the Gilbert Residence with minimal effort, entering silently through the wide-open window. The dark curtains ruffled in the morning breeze as Olivia glimpsed around her friend's room, her eyes instantly landing on Jeremey who had his back to her and his focus concentrated on something she couldn't quite see; something blocked by his body.

Hearing the faint whirl of the wind, the boy turned, startling at Liv's presence. "God, Liv, you scared the living crap out of me." He exclaimed, taking a breath. "What are you doing here?"

She gave him a small smile. "I'm here to help you with your problem." She used the term lightly, referring to his recently acquired ability to see his dead ex-girlfriends.

"You know there's a door, right." He remarked, making Liv sigh heavily before proceeding with her rather long explanation.

"Yeah but that would require knocking and then waiting for a reply and then having to say I'm fine when someone asks how are you today or reply with nothing when they ask what's up and then when I tell them I'm here to see you they'll start questioning why and what I want to talk to you about and I can't exactly say: hey Elena I hear your brother is seeing dead people, specifically his ex-girlfriend, mind if I come in?"

"Okay, okay, I get it the door was too complicated for you." He cut her off with an amused laugh which Olivia could only respond with a small, vaguely annoyed, smile.

"Who's she?" A voice asked, making Jeremy turn to face Anna, his dead vampire ex-girlfriend who he'd been miraculously seeing recently; the dark-haired girl appeared as a ghost or spirit almost, only the Gilbert himself was capable of actually seeing her.

"She is standing right next to you," Olivia interjected, turning to the petite girl with an unfriendly smile due to the prerogative tone to her voice when she had only just met her.

Anna's eyes widened, shock giving way across her features. "You can see me?"

"You can see her?" Jeremy repeated; bewildered.

"Yeah, why?" Olivia queried, not understanding why they seemed so amazed. "Is she supposed to be a ghost or something?" She teased with a smile but upon seeing the serious expressions on both their faces as they exchanged glances with one another, she received her answer. "You've got to be kidding me," she murmured aloud, turning back to face Elena's brother. "Jeremy, please tell me this isn't the dead girl you've been seeing."

"I..." he began, unable to form any words.

"My name is Anna." She cut in, looking back at the slightly taller blonde.
