𝐈𝐓 was several days later and Liv, deciding she needed a break from everything supernatural, decided to finish some homework as a way to make her life feel ⏤ as impossible as it sounded ⏤ more normal.

So she entered the Grill, taking a seat at a small table, pulling out some books from her bag before beginning to take some notes from a textbook. Though it wasn't long before she noticed Elena sitting a couple of tables over from her. She sighed inwardly upon seeing the brunette. It seemed she couldn't escape, no matter where she went or what she did. Turning back to her work, she hoped Elena wouldn't catch a glimpse of her and fortunately, she didn't seem to notice the tribrid. However,  after several quiet moments, someone else did.

Damon, entering the Grill with the intention of picking up a pie for the barbeque at Jenna's later in attempts to win her over, spotted the tribrid whilst waiting for the worker to confirm and bring him his order. He noticed Elena, similarly a couple of tables away and his mind told him to stay away from the tribrid and pester the brunette instead, but his body was saying something entirely different.

Noticing as Damon sat down beside her, Olivia sighed, not bothering to look up at him from her textbook as she spoke. "Shouldn't you be bothering Elena right now?"

"I considered it but seeing as she's still mad at me from the whole Jeremy situation, I thought you'd be more interesting to talk to," Damon replied with a smirk.

"So she finally found out you lied, huh?" She countered with a slight smile.

"Yep." He responded in a nonchalant tone.

"And let me guess, she told you to stay away from her." Olivia continued, noticing the Salvatore's smirk grow as although he was frustrated Elena was mad at him, he also couldn't help but find himself amused at the blonde.

"Well, that's going to be a problem for her considering I'm invited to Jenna's barbeque today," Damon said, causing Olivia to put down her pen before looking up at him.

"All that trouble just to harass Elena." She asked with raised eyebrows.

"Actually, I have my own reason for going to that barbeque," Damon replied smugly.

"And what's that?" She questioned him curiously, watching him as he got up from his seat to take a small box from one of the waiters.

He then leaned down moderately, speaking gently in her ear. "I'm going to put some silver into Mason Lockwood and prove he's a werewolf."

As he walked away, a frown found its way across Olivia's expression. She had heard the silver myth before and knew it was nothing more than that... A myth. She assumed Damon must've gathered the information from Vanessa a few days ago and assumed it was true. And, seeing as Mason was a threat to Damon every full moon, he acknowledged it as an opportunity to kill him.
