𝐓𝐇𝐄 ringing of her cell phone pulled Olivia from her light airy sleep, jogging her memory of previous events and lifting the brief almost peaceful haze she was previously under. It had been a while since their last attempt to locate Stefan and Damon and Olivia's relationship had been going steady. They hadn't seen each other a lot over the past few days and when they did, Damon's triumphs to convince her to stay the night with him were often declined by the tribrid, still needing to collect her thoughts.

She was planning to dedicate today to helping Jeremy out with his blurry visions or projections of people; honestly, she wasn't too sure what was occurring with him honestly ⏤ if it was just his mind creating illusions or if something supernatural was at work. However, the consistent ringing of her phone bled into her mind and so did the information the voice on the other end told her, changing the layout of her day completely.

"Windy City?" She repeated, vaguely lost at the sudden burst of information she was given. "Stefan's in Chicago?" She questioned, waiting for the reply.

The end was quiet for a moment before she responded. The voice Olivia hadn't heard in weeks; months. "Yep, and if you're planning on going after him, it's now or never," Katherine told her, down to the point as always.

Olivia sighed, showing her visible confliction of thoughts. She could go after Stefan, help him like she promised, or she could leave him be; it would certainly be easier that way. "Now or never," she repeated, the words leaving her reluctantly as she began packing her things for the trip that shouldn't last longer than a day.

"I'm guessing you haven't run into any trouble whilst gone," Olivia said, holding her phone to her ear by her shoulder as she searched her room for the car keys she had absent-mindedly misplaced somewhere a few days ago.

"You want to know if your tribrid identity is still a secret." She stated back, no signs of her words being a question. "What's the big deal? Why not just let yourself get exposed? " She asked back hopelessly.

Liv finally grabbed the silver car keys from the top of her dresser before making her reply. "As long as Klaus is breathing that may be a problem."

"Come on, Liv, you could take him."

"Maybe, but what about the hybrid army he's on the verge of creating. I can't overpower them all and if he gets me..."

"He gets himself another army." She finished, the sigh slipping out before she could restrain it.

"A powerful, uncontrollable, emotionless army of tribrids. How do you think that would turn out?"
