"𝐒𝐎, what else is going on in Mystic Falls?" Olivia asked over the phone, waiting for Tyler's reply as she directed her eyes up at the pale grey morning skies that were speckled with sparse amounts of thin clouds drifting through the air like smoke. The gleaming sun was beginning to rise, making its appearance as it peered above the buildings opposite her, starting to heat the metal of her silver car that she was currently leaning her back against.

"Nothing much. It's been pretty uneventful ever since you left," Tyler revealed to her in return, not a single ounce of hatred hidden behind his words. This time he wasn't at all angry at her for leaving. How could he be? He'd done the same exact thing. "But what about you? Last I heard you were in New Orleans."

"I moved on two days ago, tight schedule and all." She said, a slight smile on her lips as she thought back to her visit to the familiar and homey town. New Orleans was arguably the place she'd spent the most time in her life, other than Mystic Falls. In a way, it was like a second home to her with the ancestral stories behind it and awareness of witches despite it being solely for tourist reasons. It didn't hurt that a large population of the town's supernatural creatures were werewolves either. Though, still, she was only there on business and barely spent any time wandering the area at all.

In fact, that's how it had been for the most part of her trip ⏤ if she could even call it that. She didn't have much time to explore, simply having her pre-set locations in which she intended to visit and after doing what she needed to, she moved on. It felt like only yesterday she'd been driving her car out of Mystic Falls, walking out on the scarce people that she had left in her life. The truth was... it had almost been six weeks ⏤ essentially the entirety of the summer.

"You never really told me what it is you were doing," Tyler stated curiously. He had kept in contact with the blonde regularly, desperately not wanting to lose a friendship with her. He'd mainly kept her updated on what was occurring whilst she was gone whilst also constantly attempting to convince her to come back. She had intended to from the beginning, sooner or later. That was as soon as she had finished what she was required to do.

"Just visiting a few old friends," Olivia replied, careful not to reveal anything to the wolf as whilst she and Tyler were considerably close, some things she simply couldn't tell anyone.

"Apparently you have friends all over, and to think all this time I thought you weren't the social type." He mused in return, making the blonde smile.

"There's a lot you don't know about me, Tyler Lockwood." She retorted playfully.

"Clearly."

Liv paused for a moment before her thoughts quickly trailed off. "Oh, how's Caroline by the way? I haven't talked to her for a while and I'm really starting to feel the absence of her perkiness." She commented, earning a laugh from Tyler.
