You checked yourself out in the mirror.

You were wearing a short black dress that flattered your figure.

Your gun and other things were in your purse.

Your hair was loose, but straight and slightly curled at the bottom.

Not to mention your makeup was popping.

“Oh yeah, I’m good to go,” you commented.

“Where are you going?” you heard behind you.

You turned to see Clint standing in your doorway.

“Girls’ Night,” you shrugged, grabbing your purse and jacket.

“Can we talk? Please?” he asked quietly.

“Maybe in the morning,” you sighed.

You tried to walk passed him, but he blocked your exit.

“Please, I need to tell you something,” he begged.

“Either later or never,” you spat.

Clint backed up and you left.

Pepper and Maria were waiting for you in one of Tony’s limos.

You all got in and drove to one of the hottest clubs in town.

You entered and were hit by lights, dancing, and booze.

“Perfect,” you grinned.

“Shots!” Maria cheered.

It had been a while since she had left SHIELD HQ.

You guys shared three rounds.

“Don’t get too drunk now, beautiful,” some guy said to you.

“Oh please,” you scoffed, “I could drink you under the table.”

“Wanna try it, babe?” he challenged.

“Let’s do it,” you grinned.

You both sat at a table while Pepper and Maria brought you guys ten shots each to start with.

“One, two, three,” Pepper started.

You and the guy started drinking.

You won easily.

“Two out of three?” the guy asked nervously.

“Wanna put money on that?” you asked.

“$100,” he nodded.

“Refills, darlings!” you shouted.

As predicted, you drank the boy to shame and took his money.

Maria and Pepper laughed with you.

You three didn’t get home until around 3 in the morning.

You entered your room to see Clint on your bed.

“Did… Did you stay here all night?” you asked.

He nodded slowly.

“I really need to talk to you,” He said.

“Speak,” You sighed, tossing off your heels and sitting on a chair.

“I screwed up real bad. And I know that I hurt you. I can’t even use the excuse that I’m bad at relationships. I knew what I was doing and I did it anyway,” Clint began, “And I never even told you how I really felt. But you kept on loving me anyway. And I just… I messed up really bad.”

You noticed he had a black eye.

“Did you get punched?” You asked.

“I came clean to Steve about everything,” Clint sighed.

You hesitated but looked at Clint.

“I love you. A lot. And I don’t want to be hurt again,” you whispered.

“Never,” he swore, taking your hands in his, “I will do whatever it takes to make everything right, Y/N. I… I love you.”

“I want to start over,” You sighed.

“Completely?” he asked.

“Completely,” you nodded.

Clint nodded and turned to leave.

“See you in the morning, recruit,” he smirked.

“Not that far back, Clint.”
