You were a big Maroon 5 fan.

You wouldn’t say huge because you weren’t obsessed, but when you won free tickets to one of their concerts, you did a victory dance.

That night, you stood in the front row as the band piled on stage.

You danced and sang along to all the songs.

A few times, you could have sworn you had seen Adam Levine staring at you, but you just brushed it off as your imagination.

You left the concert, feeling happy.

You were on cloud nine.

The next morning, you were in a cheap little cafe, trying to get your usual morning coffee.

You got your order and turned, but someone smashed into you, spilling your hot coffee all over you.

“Shit! Ow!” you hissed, feeling the hot coffee scorch your skin.

“I’m so sorry,” you heard.

“No, no. It’s fine,” you sighed.

You didn’t look up at the person who bumped into you, you just went to the bathroom to try and clean yourself off.

You were in the ladies’ room, trying to get the coffee stain off.

“I’m ruined,” you sighed.

“I really am sorry,” you heard behind you.

You gasped and turned, looking at the one and only Adam Levine.

You fangirled on the inside to not scare him off.

“It’s alright,” you waved him off.

“Here,” he said, offering you his sweater.

“No, I can’t take that,” you refused.

He shoved it into your hands.

“Please, I feel bad,” he said.

You sighed and went into a stall to change into it.

You came out to find Adam waiting for you.

“Uh, so you’re Adam Levine,” you said nervously.

He chuckled.

“Yes, but I don’t know you’re name,” he said.

“Y/N,” you told him.

“I saw you last night at my concert,” he pointed out.

You blushed a little bit.

“You guys were amazing, as always,” you complimented.

You both exited the bathroom.

You got on line to get another coffee and Adam stood next to you.

“Let me pay for it,” he said.

You shook your head in protest, but Adam just grinned.

“You already did, didn’t you?” you sighed.

He nodded.

“Give me your number,” he said, holding out his phone.

You raised an eyebrow, but put in your number.

“Catch you later, Y/N,” Adam said, kissing your cheek.

You picked up your coffee and looked to see a not on the cup.

“Pick you up for a date soon, pretty lady,” you read.
