You laid in bed in your hotel room, curled up in a ball.

You were sick.

Unfortunately, this meant you wouldn’t be able to perform with your band, Panic! At The Disco. You were the lead bassist in the group.

It also just so happened that you guys were in the middle of a tour.

You were angry with yourself for getting sick in the middle of something so important. Lucky for you, you had an old friend who was in need of some money. Tonight, they would be playing in your place.

You felt a swirl in your stomach and a wave a nausea flew over you.

“Oh no,” you muttered to yourself, throwing back the sheets and running to the bathroom, and vomiting up whatever contents your stomach had been holding.

You brushed your teeth and returned to bed.

A knock sounded on your door and you groaned.

You reluctantly stood and made your way to the door on unbalanced feet, almost tripping several times on the short walk.

You opened it, only to see a familiar face with glasses, holding two bags in his hands.

“Can I help you?” you addressed the man.

The guy chuckled.

“Y/N, it’s me, Brendon,” he said.

“Oh, wow. Didn’t recognize you with glasses,” you said, swaying to the side to let him in.

He entered and placed the bags on the couch.

He looked at you up and down.

“You look terrible, Y/N” he said.

You slammed the door and threw yourself back in bed.

“Gee, insult the sick person why don’t you, nerd?” you said.

Brendon sat next to you.

“Well, I’m here to take care of you,” he smiled.

Your body shot up.

“But the tour-,” you began to protest.

“Is on hold until you get better,” he interrupted.

“My friend-,” you began again.

“Has been paid and sent home,” he interrupted with a smile.

“You can’t just cancel because of me,” you said.

Brendon pulled out a huge blanket from one of his bags and wrapped it around the both of you.

“Too late,” he said.

You instinctively cuddled closer to him, and he wrapped an arm around you pulling you closer.

You blushed.

“Is that a blush i see?” he teased.

“Shut up,” you laughed, playfully hitting his chest.

“You know something, Y/N?” he asked.

“What?” you returned.
“When the moon fell in love with the sun
All was golden in the sky
All was golden when the day met the night
When the sun found the moon
She was drinking tea in a garden
Under the green umbrella trees
In the middle of summer
When the moon found the sun
He looked like he was barely hanging on
But her eyes saved his life
In the middle of summer
In the middle of summer
All was golden in the sky
All was golden when the day met the night
Summer, all was golden in the sky
All was golden when the day met the night
Summer
Golden when the day met the night
So he said, "Would it be alright
If we just sat and talked for a little while
If in exchange for your time
I give you this smile?"
So she said, "That's okay
As long as you can make a promise
Not to break my little heart
Or leave me all alone in the summer"
Well, he was just hanging around
Then he fell in love and he didn't know how
But he couldn't get out
Just hanging around then he fell in love
In the middle of summer
All was golden in the sky
All was golden when the day met the night
Summer, all was golden in the sky
All was golden when the day met the night
Summer
When the moon fell in love with the sun
All was golden in the sky
All was golden when the day met the night
Summer
In the middle of summer
In the middle of summer
In the middle of summer
In the middle of,” Brendon sang in your ear.

You looked at him, mouth slightly agape.

“I love you, Y/N,” he admitted.

“I love you, too, Brendon, you dork,” you laughed.

He kissed you.

“No, you’ll get sick now!” you said.

“Then that means we have enough time to watch all of these,” he said, opening the second bag to reveal a whole pile of movies.

Of course, you two got to watch all of them together.
