You were Fury’s adopted daughter.

He had taken you in after he killed your parents for shooting and killing the original director of SHIELD. Yeah, your parents had been on the bad side of spies.

Oh well.

You usually hung out with other agents around SHIELD, but today you had gone grocery shopping for the Avengers, since the usual agent was on a mission.

You were putting the groceries away when they came bustling into the room.

They all raised their weapons at you.

You put your hands up, still holding a box of poptarts.

“Who are you?” the red headed woman asked.

“Y/N Fury,” you answered.

“Your Fury’s kid?” one guy asked.

You nodded.

They lowered their weapons.

“What are you doing here?” another guy asked.

“The agent who usually does your grocery shopping is on another mission, so I’m doing it for her,” you shrugged.

They nodded and left, except for the one with long, blonde hair.

“You bare the gift of poptarts, Lady Y/N!” he exclaimed, taking them from your hands, “You are my favorite of the Fury family.”

“Nice to know,” you nodded simply.

Thor wrapped his arms around your waist.

You waited for him to remove them, but he didn’t.

“What’s your name?” you asked him.

“I am Thor Odinson from Asgard!” he boomed.

Right, he was the alien.

You shrugged off his grasp as an Asgardian custom and continued to put away the groceries.

Your dad entered and aimed his gun at Thor’s head.

“Why are you holding my daughter?” he asked, ready to shoot.

“She gave me the wondrous gifts of poptarts and is most beautiful. I would like to court her,” Thor smiled at Fury.

Your eyes widened.

“Dude, it was one box of freaking poptarts!” you exclaimed.

Fury groaned, holstering his gun.

“You have my blessing or whatever,” he sighed, leaving.

“Wait what?” you asked.

Thor left, full of glee.

He was off to tell the other Avengers he was now courting a fair Midgardian maiden.

You were left, confused.

But this was the start to an amazing rollercoaster relationship with the god.
