Seokjin was shaking when he raised his hand and rang the door bell. He didn't have his number so this was the only way he could speak to him.
The doorknob turned, along with Seokjin's heart as he looked at it get behind Namjoon's body.
Namjoon, still shocked at today's events.....would have to pick seeing Seokjin as the most shocking.
"N....Namjoon....I"
Namjoon grabbed Seokjin's hand and lead him into the nearby alley.
"Seokjin"
Namjoon was trying to keep his breathing steady.
"Ten years......its been ten years".
Seokjin's nerves where all over...bouncing back and forth and he honestly didn't know what to say. Why did he come back.
"I missed you each and everyday of those ten years". He couldn't control himself.
He decided to be bold. He pulled Seokjin gently closer to himself. Holding his cheeks firmly. Seokjin was frozen in place. He didn't not expect this....but Namjoon's touch...it felt the same as it did ten years ago. Better yet when Namjoon's lips met his.....he still kissed like he did ten years ago.
Seokjin held onto Namjoon's shirt tightly. He couldn't believe it but he wanted this. He thought of all the wrong ways tonight would have turned out but it wasn't so.
He was on cloud nine as he felt Namjoon's warmth once again. But he pulled away, both out of breath after the lengthy kiss.
"Namjoon, I'm sorry but......I'm with someone else now."
Namjoon wanted to take whatever he heard as a dream. He felt Seokjin let go of his shirt and look away from Namjoon. Focussing particularly on nothing. "Why did you come back when you are the one that walked out on me?"
"I w....wanted to m.....make sure that it was you I saw this afternoon." Seokjin gulped, he had not been this nervous in years.
Namjoon wasn't buying it. He grabbed Seokjin's wrist as he tried to leave. "Then why did you kiss back?"
"It was a mistake".
"You expect me to believe showing up at my doorstep ten years later and kissing me back means nothing to you?"
Seokjin wanted to cry but first, he had to leave. He had been out way longer than he expected.
"I'm sorry Namjoon, I have to go". Seokjin turned his back on Namjoon and began to walk away when he froze in his tracks at what Namjoon said next.
"You are doing it again. You are walking out on me the exact same way you did ten years ago. I should have known you had no real intentions of fixing whatever it is you felt was broken in our relationship when you knew I tried all I could".
Seokjin turned to look back at Namjoon. "You know I loved you".
"Loved?"
"I'm sorry but I really have to go, I shouldn't be here. He will get mad".
A phone ringing broke their conversation. Seokjin knowing very well who is calling.
"I'm sorry...." Seokjin ran off, leaving Namjoon heart broken again. He punched the wall on the alley, definitely breaking his wrist as he watched Seokjin disappear into the night.
"Fuck you Namjoon, your stupid ass believed him again. Why the fuck did you kiss him?" He began his physically short but mentally long walk home as his wrist slowly began to heal itself with great difficulty as his many other injuries in the past because he hasn't fed on blood in years.......well.....since his Gemini Twin brother Jackson had died.
