Chapter 12 New Friend

Snow POV

I was outside... alone... with no one to talk to.

I asked my sire if he wanted to go out and fly, but he was busy.

'It sucks being the youngest one' I thought.

I sat down on the edge of the flight deck and looked down.

I hate being the youngest one on the warship because there's no one my age to hang out with.

I closed my optics and let the wing hit my face.

I stood up then jumped and transformed into my alt-mode.

I decided to go visit Earth.

'How bad could it be?' I asked myself.

I flew around until I found a safe spot with no humans around.

I transformed and landed on the ground safely.

I looked around and found myself in a forest.

A really beautiful forest if you asked me.

I decided to explore for a little while before going back.

I looked around the place and found a beautiful field of flowers.

It was so beautiful that I couldn't get my optics off of it.

I then jumped when I heard some bushes shuffle nearby.

I was about to transform and leave but calmed down when I saw a baby animal with her mother.

I scanned them and found out that they were called deers.

"Aww... they are so cute together" I said.

It melted my spark when I saw the baby deer.

'It must be really nice to have a baby' I thought.

I then remember that I had to give birth to the next heir of the Decepticons.

I really wanted to have a sparkling, but not this soon.

I then felt someone cold get pressed on my back.

"I'm warning you... move and I will shoot" I heard a male voice.

I jumped in fear and immediately raised my arms up.

"... please... don't shoot me" I said.

"I won't if you do as I say" the voice told me.

"I will" I said, shaking in fear.

"I want you to slowly turn around and don't try nothing or I will shoot" he ordered. I nodded and slowly turn around.

I was now facing him with my arms still up in the air.

He was a really young mech with white paint.

He also had some red and blue parts.

I then noticed the symbol on his chest.

He was an Autobot, but he was someone that I didn't know.

"What's your name? What faction are you in?" he asked.

"What? Why?" I asked.

"Answer the questions" he ordered.

"My name is Snow. I'm in no faction" I said, but lied about my faction.

I couldn't tell him that I was with the Decepticons. I was so happy that I didn't have the Decepticon symbol on me.

"... please... I'm telling the truth" I begged.

I calmed down when he transformed his servo back to normal. I sighed in relief before putting my arms down.

"Thank you so much... Huh?" I said.

"Smokescreen" he said. I smiled.

"Thank you so much, Smokescreen" I said.

"Anyway... what are you doing out here alone?" he asked.

"I was exploring" I replied.

"I then found this beautiful field of flowers with a baby deer and its mother" I added with a smile.

"Deer?" he asked.

"Yeah, those over there" I said, turning around to see the baby deer and its mother, but they were no longer there.

"Aww... they left" I said with a sad tone.

"I'm sorry" he said.

"Nah... it's okay" I said.

I then got a called from Soundwave telling me where I was.

'Urg... I need to go back' I thought.

"It was nice to meet you, but I need to go" I said.

I was about to transform and leave but stopped.

"Mmm... Smokescreen" I called him.

"Huh? Yeah?" he asked.

"I... could you keep my existence a secret from your team?" I asked.

"Why?" he asked.

"I really don't want anything to do with this war and wish for my existence to stay a secret far away from everyone" I explained.

"Mmm... I will keep it a secret, but with a condition" he said with a cheesy smile.

"Uh... what condition?" I asked.

"That we could meet again" he said.

"You want to meet again?" I asked. He nodded.

"Why?" I asked.

"Well... I sometimes feel really lonely and don't have any one to talk. It's really hard being the rookie on the team" he explained.

'That's why I didn't know him' I thought.

He was new to the team.

I stared at him for several minutes before sighing.

"Uh... sure, we could meet again, but only when I have time" I said. He nodded.

We then exchange comm numbers before leaving.

I immediately transformed and went back to the warship.

I land on the flight deck with a smile on my face.

'Well... it looks like I just made a new friend' I thought.
