Lance POV

"I feel dizzy," Y/N said she then collapsed
I swiftly picked her up and cradled her in my arms. I watched as she unconsciously cuddled up to me. I smiled softly.

Authors POV 

(Shabadoo pow)

As Y/N woke up she saw the paladins faces. They were masked in concern. She slightly jumped at the surprise.
"Hey guys," She said
Lance then ran over to Y/n and gave her a massive hug.
"I was so worried you would never wake up I missed you so much!"
She was taken back by the force of the hug but returned it anyway. As time went in the paladins shared memories of there near-death encounter with Zarkon.
"How did you shoot those things out of your hands!" Lance exclaimed.
"I really don't know," you said
"I just thought really hard and-" Suddenly a very short burst of energy exploded out of your hands.
"Whoa" Exclaimed pidge
"How?" Hunk questioned
"I really-" All of a sudden a coughing fit captured you. Your body shook violently with deep, harsh coughs.
"Y/N!" Lance lowered himself to you position
"I'm *cough* fine" You rasped
"No your not" He countered
"Yes I am" You snapped. Suddenly a piercing pain stopped you from arguing any further. As you clutch your head in agony Lance's face twisted with worry.
"Ow" You whispered
Once the pain in your head subsided you looked up to see the paladins staring at you in fright.
"Your eyes" Whispered pidge
"It's They're glowing!" Screamed Lance
"Strange" Mused Allura
"Whoa" Said hunk
"Oh" Was all you said
As you were bombarded with more questions Shiro cut the visit short
"Come on guys let's go," Shiro said
"Bye guys," You said
You were barely able to think to yourself when a knock on the door was heard.

Y/N POV
It was Keith. I smiled cheerily at him as he cautiously entered the room on the lookout for Lance.
"Hey Keith," I said
"Hey Y/N," He said
As he ran his hair through his deep black locks a small smile appeared on his face. A look of uncertainty appeared.
"Whatcha thinking about?" I innocently asked
"Huh what nothing I mean.. Uh" I had caught him off guard
"You suck at lying" I teasingly said
"Pshh no I don't... I mean.. Ok"
"Now Keith tell me"
"Well... Did you just call me Keithy?"
"Whatcha gonna do about it?" I challenged him
"This" With a smirk he started tickling me!
As his fingers ran down my sides I started giggling. Tears were streaming down my face.

*le five-minute time skip*

Once Keith finally let me go he asked me a question.
"So what's it like having lightning shoot out of your hands?"
"Like really tingly a sensation through my whole body.
" So it doesn't hurt?"
"Nope," I said
"Everyone was so scared," He said
"Especially you" I teased
"What no... Maybe" He said
"So worried you would never be in my wonderful presence ever again" I mocked him
" I was worried that I would never kiss you," He said.
Then he kissed me. His soft lips touching mine. It was electrifying. Once we came up for air Keith's eyes stared into mine.
"Y/N I've had a crush on you for the longest time. You are the most amazing girl I have ever met in my whole life but I thought I I hated you because you were Lance's sister...well w-what I mean is.. um will you be my girlfriend"
"Oh my gosh yes!" I replied
Keith's cheeks turned red in slight embarrassment.
"I love you" He mumbled looking down
"I love you too" I gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"But Lance he won't approve" I sadly remarked 
His eyes widened in realisation "Well then we'll have to hide it from him"
