Author's POV

Shiro's eyes widened significantly as the members of the team gasped in shock. "But how?" Pidge asked "I really don't know-" Allura cut her off "It could be a trap, your mother married a galran after all" Y/N glared fiercely "Your point?" " She may be working for Zarkon'' Allura retorted "How did your mom even reach out to you?" Hunk hastily asked "The same way as Haggar but my body wasn't controlled" Y/N explained. "I think it's a trap" Allura sniffed raising her head in a stuck up manner. "Allura you of all people should know if you had the chance to save your mother you would so please let me do this I know it isn't a trap" The altean stiffened and watched as Shiro intervened "Y/N first you want to go on a possible death mission and now you want to go to Zarkon's main ship even though this possibly could be a trap? We need to think about this carefully" Y/N sighed before "My mother said as long as she is alive this scepter will glow and the closer we are the brighter-hey where's Keith?" Y/N looked around but her efforts were fruitless. "Hey do you guys know where he is?" She asked. All I got were a chorus of I don't know's and a stony glare from Allura. "He should stay far away from you considering what you've done to him, I would expect nothing less from the galra'' she spat. "What did I do?" The young girl asked, tilting her head slightly in confusion. "When I saw him he was pretty upset" Allura snapped glaring fiercely, "Was that before or after you kissed him?" Gasps rang through the air but Allura ignored them, opening her mouth to shoot another insult. "Face it all galra are heartless including you" Allura growled facing the other princess. "I would try to think that but I can't stick my head that far up my a*ss" Y/N retorted shooting a smirk at the altean who only sighed angrily. "Now the plan" Y/N stated

Y/N's POV

"Now Shiro we could put the ship on cloaking and-" "I am not letting some scummy traitor arrive on my ship!" Allura perked up ignoring the soft glares of the paladins; "Allura that's enough" Lance growled slightly. I stayed quiet."Why are you defending her she's not even your sister" Allura harshly stated. I looked down, my rage boiling up slowly. But for now I was trying to keep calm. "Well that doesn't matter she's a sister to me" Lance retorted. I smiled as he was rooting for me. "So what? She could have been deceiving you this whole time?" I frowned slightly whilst lifting my head. "Allura I'm not-" "So what? Even if your so- called mother is alive I wouldn't be surprised if you were working with him to hand over voltron ''''I'm not- ''''Face it your mother is a traitor and so are you".

Author's POV

Suddenly something inside of Y/N burst. Her eyes turned a glowing sky blue and the lines of her face glowed slightly. Her arms were engulfed with blue energy as she spoke. "Let me get one thing straight I am not a quiznaking traitor...I know what I saw so if you ever speak ill of my parents I don't care if you are a princess because I will make sure you regret it" The aldean's eyes widened in fear at the threatening demeanor of Y/N. The paladins froze mouths agape at the sight before them.

Y/N's POV

I watched in slight satisfaction at Allura's frozen face. "Now that's cleared up we'll continue this tomorrow" I turned around walking out and shutting the door behind me with one thing on my mind. I'm no traitor.
