Y/N's POV

As I closed my eyes it was like I could see nothing but small explosions of blue light. I felt an unexplainable energy flowing through me. "Y/N were here," Keith remarked
We landed on the planet. The door opened and I was amazed. The planet was navy blue with light blue lines and markings. The planet was bare but beautiful. It was littered with small rocks with carvings or burnt edges.

"Whoa" Was all Keith said, "Does that mean I can breathe in space?" I asked. 
"Y/N that might not be-". I took off my helmet and sucked in the cold crisp air. "Oh my goodness I can!" I yelled. Lotor and Alura chuckled as I ran around the planet screaming. 

"Y/N as much as this is interesting you have to now connect with the planet to gain your powers back" Lotor explained
"Ah yes right"
I walked along the planet with the others following. I felt myself being drawn to something. We sprinted towards it until I saw it. A large crimson rock with different markings and carvings all over. We inspected it with fasinacion.
"I felt energy coming from this"
"Interesting" Lotor remarked
"Then it must be it well done Y/N" Allura cheered
"Y/N place your hands on it you have to click with it if you want to recive your powers"
"This isn't going to hurt is it?" I nervously asked
"Oh no it won't hurt me" He replied
"No me"
"Whoever told you it wasn't? this is going to be excruciatingly painful"
"Oh...Well here goes"
I closed my eyes and took deep breathes inhaling the crisp air. I relaxed my tense muscles and thought about connecting with the planet. Through my closed eyes I could see my parents.
As they faded I opened my yes. Nothing.
"Mabey the planet is warming up?" I asked
"I don't know" Keith replied
I took my hands off and sighed.
"Mabey we should go back" Allura suggested
"No we- ow"
A sharp pain attaked my head. The pain incresed and the planet began to glow.
"Y/N? Are you okay?" Keith asked
"Probably not" I winced again
Then the real aony started. I screamed in anguish as I felt myself connect with the planet. Salty tears cascaded down my cheeks as I screamed in pain. The hot burning feeling coursed through my body as I shock at the uncontrollable feeling.
Then another wave of unfathomable pain entered my body. I could feel myself connecting with the planet. I had almost clicked I was almost there.
"Y/N!" Keith yelled

Author's POV

The rock illuminated with blue light. The girl shrieked in pain and gripped tightly onto the rock. Then she saw something. She saw the inhabitants of the planet. How happy they were. How they lived, how they did everything. She saw her parents She saw herself. Suddenly Zarkon flashed into her images. He destroyed the place. orange wisps of fire engulfed the planet as the people shreiked in fear. Then it clicked. She felt a surge of energy through her whole body. Electricity radiated off of her as She screamed one last time before there was calm.

Keith's POV

The strange electricity stopped and Y/N collapsed to her knees. I ran towards her. She looked up at me with tired eyes.
"I think I have my powers back". As I touched her heat radiated off her. "Allura is she meant to be this hot?" I asked .  Allura touched her head and shrank back in surprise.  "No, too much exposure to the electricity raised her temperature". "We have to go back now" Lotor remarked

Y/N's POV

"Can we go exploring now?" I asked. Keith looked at me. "Y/N we have to go back"
"Why?"  I asked
"Your temprature it's going to get higher" He replied
I stood up and faced him
"Well if you can't catch me then we can't go back can we?"
"What-"
I sped off only hearing the shouts of Keith and Allura and Lotor. I laughed like a child and looked around the beautiful planet. I followed the sky blue lines. I felt myself getting hotter but brushed it off. I was home. I looked at the desolate planet and practicaly felt the energy running through me. I spun around happily. I felt happy, carefree, free. I conjoured up an energy ball and threw it up into the sky. It lit up the sky. I tried this a few more times before I knew I had used to much energy.

Keith's POV

I gritted my teeth angrily as we walked along the planet. The tracker beeped faster as we walked further.
"That girl" I mumbled
"Is she always like this?" Lotor asked
Me and Allura groaned in response
"I'll take that as a yes"
The tracker beeped rapidly; we looked around before I spotted Y/N I ran to her. I hugged her and she was taken by suprise. She turned around and frowned slightly.
"Keith?"
"I told you no exploring you have a fever!" I exclaimed
"I'll be fine" She stubbornly replied
"Were going back" I took her hand
"What no!" She snatched her hand away
She looked into my eyes.
"I don't have a fever it's just really hot-"
Her legs gave way and she fell into my chest.
"Were going back" I declared
I held her bridal style and we walked back.
"Sometimes I hate that I love you" I thought
I looked down on her unconscious face, her gentle feature shifting. I ghost of a smile flickered onto my face.
"But it's impossible not to love you"
