Attack

Keith's POV 

As Y/N ran away I felt irritated. What is she hiding? I chased after her and caught her arm.
"What's going on?"
"Nothing" she mumbled
I felt anger rise in me as she clamped her mouth shut.
"Y/N can you stop being stubborn for one second!" Lance cried out
"I'm not I told you nothing is wrong!" She exclaimed
"Y/N you know you can trust me!"
"Yeah, I know! But you're just won't allow me to carry on!"
"To carry on what?!"
"....."
I ran my hand through my hair in annoyance.
"Y/N!"
She glared at me and bit her lip.
"No"
"Will you just tell me so I can help!"
"You can't that's the thing you don't need to hurt there's nothing to worry about!"
"Y/N I saw you sleeping on L/N! And you look exhausted!"
"I was just..."
"Just what Y/N?! You were using your powers weren't you?!" Lance asked
She looked away from us and bit her lip slightly.
"So what?! I was with Lotor!"

Y/N's POV

"What!?" Keith yelled
"I told you that you get worried!"
"Y/N how can I not be! You can't trust him!"
I scowled darkly at him
"I can so he's my friend!"
"You're so naive sometimes he's dangerous!"
"He is not" I stated
An electricity shot from my fingers narrowly missing Keith and Lance
"Hey, you almost hit me!" Keith yelled
"Sorry not sorry" I snapped
Suddenly I felt a splitting pain in my head. I could feel Haggar's voice clouding my thoughts.
"It's happening again" I whispered

Authors POV

Y/N's eyes started glowing from E/C to purple. Her hands shook with fear as she grabbed her head in agony.
"Join me" Haggar whispered
"Get out of my head" she murmured
"I will control you!" Haggar shrieked
"Get out of my head!" She screamed
Another jolt of pain attacked her head
She screamed in grief. Purple lightning travelled around her torso inflicting more pain on the suffering girl.
Keith, Shiro and Lance surrounded Y/N.
"Y/N don't let her control you just breath" Keith yelled
"I'm trying" she whimpered
Blue and purple light swirled in her eyes. Pain engulfed her body as her screams rang around the castle.

Lance's POV

I watched in sorrow as Y/N let out another screech. I walked towards h but she moved away.
"Lance no stay away!" She yelled
She let out another wail. Tears were streaming down her face and her expression was a look of distress. I ran to her and sat next to her. I could almost the jolts of electricity.
"Just breath" I whispered
I cod hear her trying to match her breathing through the tears.
"What is she saying to you?" I asked
"She said I should join her" she responded
The electricity around her dimmed slightly
"Don't listen to her" I instructed

Y/N's POV

The pain in my body faded slowly as I tried to listen to Lance's voice. He rubbed my back and kissed my cheek. My hands still shook and tears flooded down my cheeks. Haggar's voice became louder.
"It's louder"
I covered my ears in an attempt to drown her out. All of a sudden light flooded out of my eyes and all I could see was purple.
"Y/N don't listen to her" Lance's voice faintly floated into my ears.
"Come to me" she whispered
"No!"
Then I saw Haggar. Her grotesque features in my sight. She threw a river if purple energy at me. I reacted with my own. We battled endlessly. The two streams clashing with each other. She began to overpower me.
"You will never win" she smiled cruelly
"Get out of my head!" I shrieked
"Face it you are too weak and not worthy of anything"
I screamed and doubled my force.
She threw an orb at me and I was shoved backwards
"Not worthy of your lion" she howled
"I am worthy!" I lashed out
and threw a massive sphere of energy. She was thrown back and screamed at me. I stood in front of her and blasted her with energy. She dissolved into a purple mist.

Authors POV

The lightning lessened as Y/N's eyes became normal E/C. She collapsed to her knees in exhaustion breathing rapidly.
"Y/N!" Lance yelled
He hugged her tightly. She looked up and gave him a small smile. Keith tackled her in a hug.
"Are you okay?" He asked
"Yeah I think so" she replied
Keith looked into her eyes. They were dripping with exhaustion and strain.

Y/N's POV

I felt so drained. I stood up slowly and Keith helped me up. My legs threatened to give way.
"You need to go rest" Shiro stated
"Yeah ok-"
Darkness shrouded my vision and I collapsed.

Keith's POV

Y/N collapsed into my chest. I held her bridal style and walked to her room. Lance and Shiro following. I gently placed her on the bed.
"Shiro this can't keep happening look at her"
Small dark circles we're placed under her eyes. Her cheeks looked paler and a look of panic was placed on her face. Her hands were shaking and her ragged breaths filled the air.
"I know but what else do we do?" Shiro questioned
"We go to Lotor" Keith responded
