Break from the inside

Keith's POV

As I kicked another gladiator away many thoughts were running through my head. If you were stronger you could have saved her. If you were faster. If you were more powerful this wouldn't have happened. I kicked and punched them sending hordes of the gladiators to crash into another. All I could think about was. I couldn't save her.

Author's POV POV

It's been 4 days since Y/N got hurt and Shiro was worried for Keith. Since then he had barely eaten. On top of that he has a strange schedule. Shower, train excessively, visit Y/N, train again ,visit Y/N ,train and get almost zero sleep. Shiro had caught onto the schedule and was worried
"Keith that's enough training for today" Shiro said
He turned towards The black paladin and frowned slightly.
"I haven't been training for that long" He replied
"It's been 6 hours Keith"
"But that's not that long"
"Now"
"Please just 30 more minutes"
Shiro sighed and finally gave in
"OK but only 30 minutes
He gave Shiro a reassuring smile and continued training. The clashing of metal against metal rang around the castle.         

*Time skip*

Keith's POV

I stabbed another gladiator. It fell to the ground with a soft thump.
"Training stop" I commanded  
I looked at a nearby clock. I'd been training 8 hours. I sighed softly and headed to the healing pods. As I arrived I looked at Y/N. She looked sad? I stared at her until something strange started happening. She started struggling. The expression on her face turned full of fear.
"What?" I thought
I watched as she didn't calm down. I raced to Pidge's room and shook her awake.
"What Keith?" She groggily said
"Pidge quick somethings wrong with Y/N!"
"What?! " She shot awake
"Go get Allura now!" She commanded
She sprinted to the pods whilst I ran to Allura's room
"Allura!" I shook her awake
"What's going on?!" 
"Something's wrong with Y/N!" I replied
We sprinted to the pods where Pidge had hooked the pod to a number of pods. By now the whole team was crowded around Y/N's pod watching her in surprise at her struggling.
"Now we can see everything Y/N is thinking" Pidge said
I watched in worry as images flashed n the screen.

Y/N POV

Haggar had backed me into a wall using her powers. Pain filled my body I was beat and wipped. My body was on fire and I sreamed at the immense pain I was in.
"Give me your power and the pain will cease"
"No way" I spat back
"Then the pain continues"
I sheilded my face as I was continually beaten. Blood soked my clothes and tears streamed my face.
"Y/N!"
I looked up and saw Keith.
"No please stop take me!"
"Ha to late" Haggar cackled evily at my screams for him to be set free from her grasp. I then flung a ball of energy at her but no avail. She flung one back at me sending me to crash into a wall. I tried to use my powers again but I was to weak.
"I'm to weak I whispered"
"your powerless" Haggar cackled   
"I'll go just please leave him alone!" 
"The time for barganing is gone" SHe chuckled coldly
I tried to stand but I fell back down. I could only watch. My eyes widened and tears running down my face as she threw a massive energy at him sending him flying backwards. Haggar didn't stop. she used her powers to push him  next to me. I watched as his face was bloody and beaten.
"Please no Keith!"
I hugged him
"I love you Y/N" he whispered
"I love you to" I replied
Tears poured down my face as he turned pale. Dead.
"No" I whispered

Keith's POV

Silence filled the room as the screen turned black.
"Keith has this been happeneing often?"
"Yes but not to this extent"
"Why didn't she tell us?"
"She made me promise not to tell"
"Sounds like Y/N" Lance remarked
"When will she come out?" I asked
"Tomorrow" Pidge replied
We stayed in silence and watched Y/N as she slept with a look of fear on her face. We stayed like this for a few minutes till Shiro decided it was time to go to bed.
"I'll stay here" I replied
"Ok but make sure you sleep soon" Shiro replied 

*Time skip*

"I'm so sorry" I whispered
"I faced Y/N's sleeping figure. She looked. frightened.
Then the same dream flashed On the screen. I watched as her expression turned to a pained one. I felt my heart break in two as tears poured down her cheeks. All I could do is watch. A the dream ended the pod opened and Y/N fell forward. I caught her.

Y/N POV

I fell forward and Keith caught me. I hugged him tightly as I I thought of how much I'd missed him.
"I missed you" I choked out
"I missed you to" He replied
We broke away from each other. I wobbled slightly and Keith caught me.
"You okay"
As the events of my dream set in tears brimmed in my eyes.
"No"
I cried into his chest and he stroked my hair lovingly.
"I saw the dream" He said
"Oh" Was all I could reply
I inhaled his sweet scent and faced him with watery eyes. He planted a passionate kiss on my forehead.
"Babe I'm so sorry this happened to you"
"What the dream?"
"Everything you getting hurt"
"But that wasn't your fault"
"If I was just a litlle faster and stronger I would have saved you"
"It dosen't matter I'm here now aren't I?"
He sighed and then replied
"Yes"
"I love you so much"
"I love you to" 

Haggar's POV

"Shall we inflict more nightmares onto the F/C palain?" A druid asked
"Yes"
I am going to break the F/C paladin. I will try until she is numb and has no more fght. nce her flame, her rebelliousness is gone the rest of Voltron will crumble!
"Mwuahaha" I laughed

OOh scary! Hope you liked this cliffhanger! So guys I will probably post later today or tomorrow but I do have some homework that could prevent me (Oh woe is me!) Ok guys I hope you enjoyed it byee
