Fun before the fire

                                    Y/N POV

I was with Keith. We were laughing with each other. Holding hands and enjoying each other's company. Suddenly the sky turned a deathly purple. Keith was fiercely ripped away from me. I screamed in protest but nothing could stop him from being taken from me. I then saw Zarkon a menacing smile at his lips. As I tried to struggle away I then realised I was paralysed in the galra soldiers grip.
"You can't escape," He told me
I then felt his cold hands grasp me as I was thrust into a cold dark cell
"You'll never be free," He said
As lightning tingled in my fingers tears brimmed threatening to spill at my eyes
"I'll never be free," I thought

                                     Keith's POV

I was woken up when I felt Y/N tossing and turning next to me.
"She's having a nightmare," I thought
As I shook her awake she shot up. Her eyes glazed over with pure fear. Beads of sweat lined her face.
"What happened?" I asked
"Zarkon.. You... Gone"
She then buried her face in my chest. All I could hear were her shaky sobs and breaths. My eyes widened as her eyes were flickering blue and jolts of electricity danced around her hands. Soon her sobs turned to sniffles. Then it just stopped.
"I'm scared" She whispered
"About what?" I calmly asked her
"Everyone I love will be taken from me" Fresh tears poured down her face.

                                        Your POV

As Keith held me in a warm embrace I cried softly into him. I didn't want to lose the people I cared about. I slowly drifted off in an uneasy sleep holding onto Keith tightly.

*Time skip by Coran Coran the gorgeous man!*
                                     Keith's POV

A loud screech from the loudspeaker woke me and Y/N up.
"Paladins report to the front of the castle immediately."
As I lightly shook Y/N she yawned.
"What?" She was still half asleep
"We have to go now," I said
"But I wanna stay" She wined
"But if we don't go Allura's gonna kill us" I replied  
"Uhh okay" She groaned
She then stood up widening her eyes to wake herself up more.

                                     Y/N POV

As I opened my eyes wider to help myself wake up Keith started laughing.
"What are you laughing about?" I teasingly asked
"You look ridiculous" He spluttered out
"Well at least I don't have mullet hair" I retorted
"This hair is beautiful and you know it" He sassily said.
"Yeah right" I muttered
"That's it" Suddenly a pillow was thrown at my face
"You'll pay for this Kogane!" I yelled
I then smacked him in the face with a pillow. It made an almighty slap on his face. Then there was silence. Once I caught Keith's eye we burst out laughing.
"Let's go," He said
"Race ya!" I yelled
And we sped off.
