Zaria Pov

We sat at his table and still felt his eyes on me. I was afraid if I looked up I would say something dumb or gawk at him like an idiot. So instead I just continued started to eat quietly keeping the conversation between us at minimum. Then Candace and Stacey began to get into it over food. I tried not to laugh but it was just too funny. Pretty soon me the air around us felt a little more comfortable and we were all sitting down laughing. Just as the boys we just about to start up a conversation ... then the cafeteria door slammed open.

The cafeteria got really quiet. And in stormed a very,very angry Tracey.

"DEWAYNNNNEEEEE!!!"

And to just my luck she was heading directly our way!!! Uh Oh...

She stopped directly in front of the table. And she got even more mad she see saw me.

"You bitch!!!!!" She said lunging at me. I just politely moved out of her way but Dewayne grabbed her from behind. What the hell is her problem??

"What wrong with chu? "Dewayne said holding her back, trying to soothe her. She just glared at me.

"Did you hug her????!!" She asked thru clenched teeth never taking her eyes off me. He looked confused and didn't answer. That's when she turned around and got all up in his face. "Dewayne did you hug her????!!!"she said raising her voice an octave higher than her already, unsettling loud tone.

His jaw clenched and his eyes got darker.

"First of all lower you damn voice when you talking to me. I ain't one of yo little friends you can just boss around. I have no problem having a conversation with you but you yelling and making a scene isn't gon help. Chill with that."

She just rolled her eyes.

He glared at her and said "Do it again." A little bit too calm for my taste.

She just kept on though, and he continued talking "As a matter of fact, yes I did hug her. But that's all that happened. Is there a problem?" He said calmly.

She gasped extra loud. "So you cheating on me with this ugly hoe?"

Wait what? See this is exactly what I'm saying about people getting the wrong idea.

I'm always being made out to be an opportunist , that shit really does fuck with me.

He looked at her for a minute like she was crazy...then he went off.

"The fuck? Tracey why would I even cheat, I don't even know her like that! You really think I'd do you like that? It was a simple hug nothing sneaky or romantic about it. I'm not understanding the issue," he snapped, " You literally be hugging on whoever you want any time and I don't ever question you!  I trust you. You look really goofy right now questioning my loyalty. We been together to long for this shit!"

She stood there for a minute completely silent. She recovered after a while, snapping her head towards me.

"You betta not even think about touching my man again. I don't care what he says if I see you, being a fucking clout chaser. Try anything I will whoop your ass! He don't want someone who is as useless or as ugly as you. Trust me he would never downgrade like that. Just quit while you're ahead, you're only making him look bad. You are dismissed, feel free to go cry now. " she spat coldly at me while smirking.

"What the fuck you on bruh? Didn't I just say we didn't do anything? Don't talk to her like that, the shit is unnecessary." Dewayne barked at her.

I felt tears threaten to fall but I blinked them back. I am so done just as I was about to walk away she pulled me back harshly.
