One evening, as the gang is about to turn in for the night, they receive an unexpected guest... Adira.

"Adira!" Lance says happily. "I knew you couldn't stay away from me."

"I need to speak with Rapunzel... Alone," Adira tells them, ignoring Lance. "And bring the scroll."

Rapunzel complies, and the two of them walk out of earshot from the rest of the group. But they all continue to watch the two of them carefully —except for Shorty, who falls asleep against the caravan.

"They've been at it for a while," Eugene says later as Rapunzel and Adira continue their conversation. "What could they be talking about?"

"I don't know," Varian says, leaning against the caravan with his arms folded. "Rapunzel won't even let me look at those scrolls. It's because of me that she even has the first piece!"

"She won't let you look at them because the last time you tried to read them, you almost spilled your hot cocoa all over them!" Eugene remarks

"She won't let you look at them because the last time you tried to read them, you almost spilled your hot cocoa all over them!" Eugene remarks.

"Hey, you made me almost spill it," Varian says. "Can't you steer around the rocks in the road instead of driving right over them?!"

"Shh! I'm trying to eavesdrop," Cassandra scolds, and the two of them shut up.

"You know I can read lips, right?" Lance says. He stares at Adira for a moment. "'Follow your dust to me'."

"Yeah, pretty sure that's not at all what she said," Varian says.

After pointing at the scroll a few times, and then pointing to a tall mountain in the distance, Adira finally leaves and Rapunzel rejoins her friends.

"So, what was that all about?" Cassandra asks.

"Adira told me to follow my destiny," Rapunzel replies.

"Yup, exactly what I said," Lance says.

"She said we would find the next piece of the scroll at the Spire," Rapunzel continues, pointing to the mountain. "The Keeper will take us to it."

"Well that doesn't sound foreboding at all," Eugene says sarcastically. "Get a good night's sleep, everyone! We've got a long day ahead of us."

The next morning, they begin the journey. Rapunzel, Eugene, Cassandra, Lance, Varian, and Pascal head out while Hook Foot, Shorty, Ruddiger, and the horses stay with the caravan. They climb a steep pathway up the side of the mountain, and after a long day of travel they reach a large, round building.

"Is this it?" Eugene asks. "The Keeper's Place?"

"Let's find out," Rapunzel replies eagerly.

"Let's find out," Rapunzel replies eagerly
