Chapter 24 - Force

Gabriella POV

I was on the sofa, I dialed Daniel waiting for him to pick up

"Gabby?"

"Rise and shine sleepyhead" I yelled into the phone

"What do you want?" he groaned I felt a bit guilty for waking him up

"Did you find anything?" I whispered into the phone eyeing the staircase if someone decided to come.

"No, Logan seems to hide everything regarding that Case and only tells what he wants"

"Why does he do that? Does he suspect you?"

"I don't know Gabby and it seems like Lucas and Logan is making sure no one finds about it too"

"I'll call you back" I cut the phone and sighed, what was Logan hiding?

Inserting tech codes to my body was never a plan, so what else is he hiding?

"Oh my goodness!" I turned as Ethan shrieked, holding his hand to his heart, "Gabriella it is 3am for god sake why are you awake?"

"Not sleepy" I muttered, he walked and poured a glass of water

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing" I answered and leaned myself back

"Go to your room and sleep" he mumbled

"I am not sleepy"

"Then I'll wait until you feel sleepy" he sat on the last stair and leaned to the railing as I watched him from the sofa.

"Why are you here Ethan"

"Take it as my payback for saving me from Alek and back then from the fight"

He yawned several times as I stared at the ceiling.

"Are they punishing themselves?"

"Isn't it hard sleeping like that?"

"Call Alek"

"What is going o—" I stirred at the sound of the voices, "why are they sleeping together?"

"Can you guys shut up and let her sleep?" Ethan grumbled

"Gabriella" Alek's voice called me, "Gabriella princess wake up" he slightly shook me

"Please five more minutes" I pleaded

"She cries like a baby" Ethan snickered, I opened one eye and my glare that was meant for Ethan was focused on Alek, who chuckled

"I think we woke the baby up" he smirked, his flawless face now had a cut that was covered by his bangs, "go to your room and sleep" I groaned

"Carry me" I lift my arms, I could see everyone waiting for Alek's response. He slid his arms underneath me and held me in bridal style

"You make me do things I never thought I would do" he whispered as he brought me closer to me. I snuggled to his warm body and the sweet scent seems to calm my growing nerves.

I don't wanna lose him but both of us has secrets that would destroy us. If only we could keep acting like this forever forgetting the things that would destroy us

"I am one of a kind" I smirked with my eyes closed. I wanted to say something else

"Take a picture Alek is carrying a girl" Zane yelled as I groaned

"Shut up Zane" Ethan grumbled, "I don't want to hear your voice early morning"
