Chapter 28 - Royally Screwed

Gabriella POV

We were going back to college after yesterday's party, I was having a hangover but I had to come if I wanted to meet Daniel and Javen, I was looking forward to some new information about the Case but there seems nothing.

Ethan was warming up to me but he left me alone, I knew he was keeping a close eye on me, Sia was with us since Zane seems to be missing in action.

I don't exactly remember how I ended up inside my DB11 AMR that Lexi brought to college. We were in the road around the college, the sound of the engine racing was echoing, my car was on neutral mode and in the right side of my car was Michael's car. The students were on the either side of the roads, as our cars were aligned to each other,

"If Alek gets to know this you are alone" Sia spoke as Ethan rolled his eyes and stood on the sideline. Alek had to leave with Damon half way through the Lit period for business, actual business

"Let them see who rules the game Gabby" Jav winked as Lexi gave me thumbs up, Lucas and Daniel were simply watching and Bryan was speaking in the radio telling me the directions I have to follow.

"Let's see if you can win Marcello" Michael rolled his window down and smirked

"Game on!" I yelled, we have 2 laps around the college to finish the game, the management couldn't touch us, they were anxiously waiting on the side lines. They maybe elders and members of Mafias but their ranks were way lower from us, they didn't have the power to stop us. A girl strode in and held the coloured flags

Yellow. I tightened my fingers on the wheel, my foot ready on the accelerator

Go

I changed the gear to D and slammed the accelerator, the two cars were fighting to be in the front. Since it was an one way with two lanes it was easy but the trick was we had turns and if I wanted to win, I needed to make the turns before him

"Gabby you have a turn 3m from now" I need to be in Michael's lane,

"3. 2.1 now!" I turned the wheel swiftly and I smiled as I overtook him,

Michael turned on the curve after me, I sped up a bit more

"Gabby don't speed up this isn't the tracks!"

"No need to shout Bryan!" I had a huge gap with him, I had an advantage as I turned each curve first, the crowd whooped as we finished the 1st lap. I knew I wasn't in the tracks but I was glad to feel the excitement again after several months

"Umm...Gabby Michael's up to something" Lexi's uncertain voice echoed in the radio

"What?" suddenly my car jerked forward, "that bloody dick!" he rammed into my car again, "I swear if my car gets more damage I will cut his balls!"

"Gabbs the turn!"

Shit, I jerked forward again going off track as Michael overtook me, reversing the car a bit I managed to turned the curve last. I pressed the accelerator, ready to finish this game off

"You have one more bend Gabriella"

"Ethan?!"

"Don't be so surprised" he muttered, "slow down when you get near Michael, get behind his car"

"That's not going to work" Lucas grunted

"It is going to work" I smirked, "good tactic Ethy"

"Do you just...never mind"

There is a higher chance that his method wouldn't work but since this is Michael I could work on that. You just have to get behind his car, and then he would try to ram me, I just needed to quickly change my lane and get into his lane, making it easier to take over since his front is unprotected.

But if this ends up sideways I would get myself killed because if I didn't come in front of him within 3 seconds I would probably be in the forest trees and because of the speed of my car, it is highly possible for the car to go up in flames taking me with it.

"I race for" I put my car behind him as he slowed down

"Me and only me" I smiled and spoke as Bryan spoke the first words, he was trying to hit my car, this guy is predictable

"Until the last drop" Jav and Daniel spoke into the mike, now! I turned the wheel to the left as he went back a bit further. 3. 2. 1

"Of my beating heart bleeds" I whispered and rammed the side of my car to his front hood and speed up, a smirk etched on my face.

"You just had to do that didn't you" Daniel laughed

I laughed but felt guilty as I scratched my car, I finished the race with signing BH in the ground as smoke circled around the car.

"Gabby!" Bryan yelled, "you just signed BH!"

"I'm screwed" I mumbled

"You so are!" Ethan spoke
