Alek POV

"My sweet boys" she gushed the moment she saw us, she pulled us to a tight hug, Zane and I had to bent over to hug her small body, "oh come in come in"

"Someone is excited" I smirked walking in with Zane

"You boys rarely visit your nanny" she pouted sadly

"We love you Jen" Zane hugged her again, we sat on the sofa.

"Wait here, I'll bring something to my lovely boys" she practically ran to the kitchen

"She is so happy" he said grinning as I nodded smiling, "we should have visited her earlier"

"I know"

She placed two trays of biscuits and sweets and two tall glasses of milk, "Your favorites" she smiled, Zane took the milk glass and gulped it down then eyed me before grabbing my glass and drinking it too, "you boys are still the same" she said as I smacked Zane in the head

"Nanny" Zane pouted as she laughed

"Nan Jenny we came here to ask you something" I spoke, I didn't want to waste time by putting her in danger, she nodded telling me to go on, "on 9th of April 2016 what exactly happened?"

She stilled for a moment at the mention of the date, "Why do you want to know about that horrendous day Nick? you made me promise not to talk about that day"

"Emmeline is back Nan" I answered as Zane placed his glass on the table sighing

"She is back?" she smiled happily,

"Nanny Jen you knew she was alive?" there was surprise in Zane's voice

"Of course I knew Kae" she smiled, "she stayed with me after the attack before she left"

"But I shot her Nan" I said puzzled, "she was lying on the floor before we burnt up that place" I bit my tongue as the images of everyone I loved started resurfacing.

"You did" she nodded

"How then?"

"Do you remember exactly who was dead when you guys came?" she asked both of us slowly

"Aunt Venora, my dad and uncle Lorenzo"

"Aunt Diyana, Adelynn, Katherine" I answered, who else did I saw, "my dad"

"We didn't see your mother or my brother Kyle" Zane said shocked

"That's because there weren't there" Nan said, "it was exactly like what happened 15 years ago Nick"

"You mean when uncle Emmett went missing and aunt Irene died?"

"Yes Nick, it would have happened again and no one would be able find your family if it wasn't for Emmy who fought back" she sighed, "it was Nylah who saved Emmeline and left the place with Eve, Kyle and I"

"They are alive too?"

"Yes my son" I stilled and slowly turned at the footsteps

"Ma?" I blinked, I couldn't understand anything at all, "how?" despite everything I was happy, I hugged her tightly as I could, tears was falling from both of our eyes

"Aunt Nylah" Zane smiled before running towards her and hugging, "Kyle?" there was hope in his voice as he looked around

"Zane sit down" ma sighed, something was wrong

"What's wrong?"

"Sit down both of you, I have a lot to explain" ma said, "Nick sit down"

"Where is Kyle?"
