Of course, she's wearing a suit, there have been at least three times I could remember her NOT wearing one so I really wasn't too surprised, what did surprise me was her ability to get this restaurant to not only open on Christmas but also there to be people working. I felt underdressed in my long sleeve black shirt and jeans but Renee didn't seem phased by my appearance in fact she was more interested in the wine she was drinking than the fact that I was even standing there. While she sampled the wine, I looked around the dining room, I didn't trust shyt... knowing this woman there was a chance that everyone here was on her payroll and if I made any sudden moves I'd be dead. Epic really fuckin owed me because this was some straight bullshyt, that 'soft spot' Renee had for me was because of that favor I did for her before everything went left. Renee was a beautiful woman, highly intelligent, and cold-hearted; there was a million things she could be doing that would make her a lot more money than this shyt, which begs the question of why? I had to believe her motives went far deeper than just revenge, there was more to the story... more moving pieces than any of us realize.

"The beard works... if definitely completes the visual. Don't get me wrong you were always an attractive young man, but that beard elevates you to daddy status." Renee said smiling. "I bet the sex between you and Murda.... to be a fly on the wall for one of y'alls session."

"Ask and you shall receive... you know me and my nigga don't mind an audience, but enough with the pleasantries, you know why I'm here and it's not to discuss my sexcapades." I said looking into her cold eyes, as we stared into each other's eyes the waiter brought her a plate of lamb and some other shyt that lowkey pissed me off... I swear when I get my restaurant I was going to serve real shyt and not these damn teasers that cost more than most people's rent.

"As I told Epic, I would prefer if it didn't turn to bloodshed all he has to do is admit defeat and relinquish control of 2/3 of his empire.... it's really not that difficult." Renee said cutting into her lamb.

"You may not want bloodshed but the person you're working with definitely does.... you've made that perfectly clear so how would it look if Epic were to give up as you put it 2/3 of the city and then be left completely vulnerable. You have to realize that's not a smart move on his part..... but I'm not here to discuss the logistics of war, I'm here to talk about Eileen.... y'all talked every day so I wanna know what y'all discussed the day it happened." I said looking into her eyes.

"Normal shyt, Real Housewives.... pregnancy cravings.... possible names for the baby..... nothing seemed unusual, nothing seemed different.... it was a regular conversation. She told me that Legend would be stopping by but other than that nothing seemed out of the ordinary." Renee said and her confirming that Eileen was pregnant, that shyt was like a gut punch...... "Whatever happened that night is still a mystery to me, which is why I wanna talk to that chick Destiny... to see who she told about where Eileen was hiding." Renee said.

"Why do I get the feeling you're not telling me the whole truth Renee?" I asked trying to see inside her soul. "You've been gone for years, I'm sure you've had plenty of time to put the pieces together... you probably have far more information than that bullshyt you're trying to feed me." I said calmly.

"You're right, I do.... and Epic has far more blood on his hands than even he realizes. Most of the players are already filled in and there are things that Epic did that caused what happened, if he would've acted sooner maybe....." Renee said quietly and I noticed tears forming in her eyes. "Him killing Papa Lawson was the catalyst for a whole chain of events that happened; Elieen, him wiping out the Lawsons, the loss of countless lives.... innocent lives. Epic is a horrible 'king' and it's time for the queen to reign; you have a chance to back out.... I would hate for you to die before I could some more of your cooking, even as a little nigga your ability to turn the bare minimum into a delicious meal.... remember me and Eileen used to give you my cousin's food stamp card and you'd cook for us?" Renee asked.
