Chapter43:A little Tired

~Third Person POV~
Preliminary Tournaments Started, The Tokyo Preliminary Rounds were done already. Both of Nekoma VB teams were going to Nationals, Y/N's team as the winner of the Prelims and Kenma's Team as a sponsor representative, Keiji's team will also proceed to Nationals while Daishō supports his little sister from the sidelines.

Tobio's team was going against Shiratorizawa tomorrow, They were planning on watching him so they packed a few clothes since they'd be sleeping over at the Kageyama Mansion in Miyagi.

They all placed their bags in the living room before they left for school, it was a Friday so it was already the weekend the next day.

They all got their goodbye and good luck affection from Y/N as they got to their schools. Y/N, Lev and Kenma had a all-day practice so they went to the gym. They were just gonna practice for the whole day, they passed their schoolwork in advance and got permission from the principal a week ago.

Y/N quickly changed, everyone was already in the gym when she came in. "Y/N! Your here!" Emiko exclaimed "Emiko-San is about to kill us..." Akane whispered and Y/N just chuckled "Form a line and let's go!" Emiko said and the girls already knew how to do all these procedures because Emiko was very competitive and agitated whenever Games were coming up.

They formed a line and they jogged out the gym. The VB teams finished their morning jog and the boys were taking a break while the girls were doing drills. Emiko was making sure that all of them improve on what needs to improve. They didn't have a coach or manager so they did everything by themselves.

Y/N was practicing her spikes since Emiko noticed she rarely tried to spike it down while Akane was setting for her since that's what she lacked.

"One more time." Y/N said as she passed Akane the ball, Akane nodded "Don't be so stiff." Y/N advices her "Try to calculate the direction of the ball and control the speed..." She said as she walked a bit far from the net, Y/N ran up "Akane!" She called out, the girl that was in a trance was pulled out and set the ball for her bestfriend.

It was a unplanned quick attack. Y/N landed on her feet, she has never jumped that much before "What the hell was that!?" The whole gym chorused referring to the two "Yeah, she did a good set. Congrats." Y/N said tiredly as she sat in the floor, she was the only one who hasn't noticed of what they've done "T-that was a quick attack... a super quick one..." Akane muttered as she slowly lifted her hands closer to her face.

"Oh and that too." Y/N said as she drank her water "We did a quick without Y/N being the setter!" Corri (Wing Spiker-2nd Year)  exclaimed "We're definitely winning again!" Emiko exclaimed "We won't unless you don't let us take a break! Your killing us!" Y/N whined and Emiko just nervously chuckled "Alright! Let's take a break!" She said and everyone proceeded to get some rest.

The whole tiring day finally ended. The adults were still on a trip so it's just the Demon Spawns once again. They all took a quick shower so they won't be sticky and smelly when they leave the house.

~Y/N's POV~
I knew it was gonna be extra chilly in the way to Miyagi. I got out of the shower and dried myself. I took the hoodie that Kenma gave me when we went to the arcade when we were still just friends...

I put on a undershirt and put on some sweat pants before I put on the hoodie. I brush out my hair.

My phone started ringing so I picked it up, it was a unknown number, I contemplated on answering it and ended up actually answering it.

"Hi Y/N-San!" A very cheery voice greeted me from the other end and I immediately recognized who it was.... I put down my hair brush "Hey Shoyo..." I greeted him "Eh? How'd you know it was me?" He asked and I chuckled as I took out a sock from my drawer "Your always cheery... Your voice is still the same so why wouldn't I recognize you?" I reasoned as I put on the socks "Dang It!" He whined "How did you even get my number?" I asked him "I went snooping through Kageyama's phone..." He explained "He caught you, didn't he?" I asked and he hummed "Bakageyama literally spiked a ball into my head!" He complained "Don't worry Sho, I'll scold him for hurting you!" I said as I put on a pair of shoes.

"Really!?" He asked "Yeah, of course, anything for a little sunshine like you..." I said as I walked out the bathroom "Thank You Senpai!" He exclaimed "Senpai?" I asked, it's the first time he called me Senpai "Oh! Hehehe... So Y/N-San, are you gonna watch our game tomorrow?" He asked "Of course I will!" I said and I could hear him celebrating "Save my number and I'll save yours, see you soon Shoyo!" I said "Okay! Bye Y/N-Senpai!" He said and I hung up.

Cuddles was already in the car. We ate dinner and we all got in the car. I fell asleep on the car ride.

~Kenma's POV~
She fell asleep on me. We were all tired, I thought Kuroo was terrifying in practice but Emiko-San was more terrifying....

Soon we all fell asleep. We were all exhausted.

~Third Person POV~
After a few hours, they reached Miyagi and Kenma woke up. He carefully picked Y/N up as Kitaro took out their bags for them.

Kenma carried her no matter how tired he was from practice earlier. They all went into their rooms to get some rest, Kageyama still didn't know they were here since Miwa was the one who let them in.

In Y/N and Kenma's room, he carefully placed Y/N on the bed and took off her shoes, he gently tucked Y/N in bed, he also got under the sheets and cuddled her to sleep.

Kenma would never let his Princess get hurt, he will always care and love her.... The love she really deserves.... She was his Player 2 after all....
