Francessa's POV

"I hate you guys!" I huffed at my parents and sat in between them. Always a cock-blocker. I always used to sit between them and now at this age whenever at home this is the case. And maybe that's why I am the only child to my parents. My Mom being a yoga trainer mostly work from home nowadays and Dad is always on duty, so they actually spend less time together.

But whenever I disturb them they never complain, but hear me out nicely and pamper me.

"What happened?" Mom asked and both of them were actually petrified.

"Because... Because of you guys, I have no worries in my life! Everyone whom I meet have divorced parents or abusive ones or the ones who does not support their kids and the ones who does not spend time with their kids. But you both! You both are perfect!" I pouted at their shocked faces.

"And that is a problem because?" Mom asked in confusion.

"Because? You are asking me that?" I snapped at them.

"Franny... Stop with creating suspense. Come to the point." Dad said with his serious expressions.

"Dad... What I mean is, I have everything that a person ever needs. But..." I stopped because I don't understand how to express myself in this situation.

"But?" Mom prompted me to speak.

"But I have no grief in my life. I have never experienced on my person something that... That will make me stronger. Something to put forward while talking about myself bravely." I said.

"But darling, you are compassionate. You understand the pain of others when most of the people be selfish." Dad said while patting my head.

"Yes... But. I want to experience how it feels when life gives you so much sufferings." I muttered sadly.

"Well... Bella don't give her food for one month!" Dad suddenly shouted after some moments of silence making me look at him in shock.

"Fabian! Stop with it." Mom scolded him slightly.

"What? She wanted sufferings." Dad shrugged making her glare even more.

"Fabian! Be serious, will you? Darling, I have never heard you say something like this. Why are you saying all thi now?" Mom asked as she turned me towards her.

"Mom, I want everyone to pity me." I muttered.

"Everyone or... A certain someone?" She asked while smiling making me blush.

"Mom!" I shrieked in embarrassment.

"Now I want to listen to everything." Dad jumped in our conversation making me even more embarrassed.

"I am not saying anything to you both!" I snapped and got up from the couch.

"Finally! I made her get up from sitting in the middle of us." He said sarcastically making me glare at him.

"Dad! I am grown up now and never come in between both of you." I said in defending tone.

"We also thought when you will grow up you will not come between us. But this dream remained juat a dream for us." He said making my Mom hit him.

"Dad! That was rude." I huffed and sat on the table near couch.

"Ignore him darling. Say me who is he?" Mom asked with shining eyes.

"Is he worth your attention?" Dad asked with scrutinizing eyes.

"Today I met Alessandro Rossi." I said.

"He is worth it." Dad said and smiled proudly at my choice.

"Dad! Let me complete." I said in frustration.

"Fabian! Let her complete." Mom also said the same thing.

"You both are she devils." He muttered.

"Before I met him, I framed an opinion about him. I went to meet in the hospital where he was visiting his sister. The whole day we were together and we fought a lot through out that the patient threw us out in the evening." I said and looked at them but they didn't say anything and nodded at me to continue.

"Then I helped him with car key in return of treating me dinner. He took me to his home and you know when we were alone, I started knowing and started realising how wrong I was about him. He made world's best pasta for me." I said with dreamy eyes.

"Your Mom's pasta is best." Dad interrupted me.

"Fabian!" Mom again hit him and that serves him the best.

"And he taught me how to cook. And I was actually interested in learning how to cook!" I said.

"Great! One boy, one day and she wants to cook. I can term him a magician!" Dad commented in dry amusement.

"Faby! I will kick your ass if you pull her leg. There's more to her story. Darling continue." Mom said as switched her expressions in a second.

"Then we sat for dinner and he said something that almost broke my heart Mom. He is the first person whom I started liking because he had some base in his foundation rather than those dumbs who were interested in me. In just one day he created a happy space in my heart then left it void." I said as a tear drop fell from my eye making my parents panic.

"What happened?" Mom asked.

Flashback

"Wi..ife?" I stuttered as I picked my spoon hastily.

"Yes... Was this information that scary?" He asked in amusement.

"No... I mean... Yes. I thought you are bachelor so you bought this bachelor pad kind of apartment." I said and looked around.

"It's a marriage of convenience." He said while eating from his plate.

"What?" I asked in confusion.

"I don't know why I am saying this to you. I met this girl in my college and we were good friends. Majorly because we both were deprived of parents' love. I was physically deprived and she was emotionally. Her father was abuser and was a impactful and successful businessman. I learned from him while in college and in later years he started abusing Margaret even more. He wanted her marry a weasel, so I had to jump in and save her when she asked for my help. I married her and still saving her from her father who wants to kill her." I looked at him in shock.

Flashback ends

And Mom and Dad are looking at me in shock.

"Why can't I have that pity!" I sobbed at my first heartbreak.
