Alessandro's POV

"Stella... You go on ahead. I will bring him inside." I said as I straightened Vivian's wheelchair.

"Are you sure? I mean it will be a bother. I think we should just not attend the event today." Stella turned looking so pale after taking care of her husband and herself. Idiot! Get well soon... So that she get some rest.

"Viv! Make her understand again!" I said to my best friend who has done this task twice today.

"Darling... That's my best friend. I don't want to miss out on his failures as well as success." Viv said to Stella while she sighed. And that is the truth. We promised to be there for each other even if we are unwanted somewhere.

"Fine. But you mister will not have have junk. I am saying you if without doctor's permission you had anything then you will have to massage my foot for hours when you heal." Stella can set him on track.

"Promise!" He smiled brightly at her. I don't know why I don't like marriage when I have them as example.

After settling Viv on wheelchair, I pushed him inside the hotel. I saw the children running around banquet hall of the hotel and aged people sitting in one corner having their fun activities.

Oh boy! Managing this chaos is a task.

"By the way, where is your social worker?" She is not my social worker! I shouldn't have said anything to them. And anyways after the stunt she pulled that day, it's better that she stays away from me. God knows what rumour she might start now?

"I am not her PA that I would know. But why are you just interested in her. My brother and sister will come too." I eyed him suspiciously while mentally thinking that as per our plan she should be here by now. I will have to ask my manager if she is here yet.

"I would love to meet them too. But it's just that during the plane journey till here you were only talking about her. So I thought maybe you are more interested in meeting her." This sly fox of best friend is only person I could find? Ale you could have done much better.

"You know what she did! She linked me with Stella and I was angry at her. What she did she got to kn..."

"I know. She was smiling like an idiot. Maybe she was happy that you are available. And anyways, I should feel angry that she linked my wife with you. Why are you so agitated?" I eyed him with frustration.

"Okay... Stop it now! Ale, you have prepared your speech properly?" Stella intervened otherwise I would broken his already broken bones even more.

"Yes. I have that done perfectly." I said made her sit on the chair and pushed Viv's chair beside her. I know he is feeling worse of not been able to help Stella, but Stella is happy that he is with her and will be fine in few days. She would have broken from inside if something happened to Viv.

"Hello Alessandro!" I turned to see my sexily dressed sister along with my grumpy brother.

"Hello Carmelia and Tristan. Meet my best buddy Vivian and his wife Stella." I said while prompting the introduction.

"Just came from the hospital?" Carmelia asked Vivian to which he nodded sadly.

"Oh! I understand you... That dratted room is so boring. I got discharge just yesterday otherwise I would have atleast one person in frustration over there." Carmelia said making Vivian laugh.

"And that person would have been me." Tristan said interrupting them.

"Where are the others?" I asked looking around if everyone are present here.

"Ivano and Idhaya are coming with Aida and Emiliano. The last I called them they were about to reach here. That turning near your hotel is so busy that our drivers are still stuck there." Don't ask me! I will buy a bike here soon to avoid traffic.

"Even we were stuck there you know. But finally we are here on time." Maybe she is also stuck in the traffic like the other day. She knew that this traffic prone area then she should have departed earlier.

"There they are!" Tristan said making me look towards the door. I saw Esposito brothers walking in with their women. I dutifully introduced everyone and sat back on my place silently. Where is she? Who will handle this chaos now if she is not here on time.

"Ohh! I forgot to inform you. Francessa will not be able to join us today." Idhaya said suddenly and looked at me.

"What? Why? It was decided that she will here. Look at the chaos around, if she is not coming then who will take care of the charity event?" I suddenly freaked out thinking about everything that she was about to handle.

"Don't worry. She has her manager from old age home who will handle everything." Aida said consoling me but I just snorted.

"Why is she not coming? My friend had his whole body fractured buthe is still here. A promise is a promise... And I believe even death of the other person break us free from our promises." As I fulfilled my promise to Nonna.

"But... Look everything is peacefully settled now." I looked around to see children on their respective handicrafts stalls. Aged people seating in proper formation and no sounds coming from either of them.

"But still, what is the surety that they will behave till the end of the evening?" I asked them.

"Well... If not for her parents forcing her to go on a date then she would have attended the event. Unfortunately, they are worried about their daughter." Carmelia said in calm tone.

"So her date is more important than me?" I snapped at her.

"You?" Everyone around table looked at me while smirking as if they have proven some point.

"I mean this event." I clarified while gritting my teeth.

"Well, just to warn you. These ladies are dangerous." Ivano said as he picked a wine glass from the tray the waiter served.

"They are plotting something." Emi said.

"I second that." Tristan said but the boys were elbowed hard on the stomach.

"Shut up!" Girls said making me fear them. First my plotting Nonna and now three more?
