If someone asked me just a few days earlier that --

I would have selected money. I would have selected the growth of this empire. I would have selected the reputation of this business.

Then again, I didn't know so much will come my way. So much of what I never even thought I needed.

Empire. Check!

Health. Check!

Money. Check!

Family. Check!

Dad. Check!

Happiness. Double check!

Love. Aida!

"And don't say that you don't have the same look. I mean you were looking at Idhaya as if you want to ravish her." I argued with him.

"Fine. Let's not tease each other. But don't you think life is going in good direction? Idhaya came and handled my chaos and Aida solved the issue of whole family." He said making me smile and nod at him.

"Yes. This lockdown actually helped us getting our mates. Though I want to share one secret." I said to him and now he looked very curious.

"What is that?" He asked.

"Aida and I... We met way before. I took my sessions with her. She was my psychiatrist. I left the sessions midway because I felt like I should forgive you. But you know my ego. It didn't allow me to forgive so easily. But everything worked it's way. I have her then I have everything I could ever ask for." I said very sincerely.

"I... I had no idea that you went for sessions. But then I was so much lost in my own guilt that I had no courage to even approach you." He said to which I nodded.

"Leave all that. I am sure Carmy, you and I will have good laugh about all that chaos in future." I chuckled a bit.

"I agree to it. Slowly and steadily, we all are finding our pace, future and direction. It might look like cobweb from outside, but the current situation is the most comfortable situation." I laughed at his dry humour. This is actually confusing to understand all the relations between us for an 'Outsider', but this is the most sorted condition of all of us.

"And you will have to agree to one more thing. Idhaya is the star of your life, but my Aida she is the star of our family." I said proudly to which Ivano laughed but nodded anyway.

"I say they both are our stars. If Idhaya wouldn't have come, I am sure you wouldn't have met Aida." His cockiness reappeared.

"Fine. Let's have it your way." At least what he said is true. But I will my Aida the bigger star.

"I know what you are thinking. But for me both our girls are the star. Biggest one." Drat! He knows what I think almost every time.

"Fine." I said.

"I am going to propose her. I am thinking of doing it right now. Everyone is already present here and my Aida doesn't need all the show off. I am sure she will be very happy about this proposal." I said.

"Fuck Emi! I was thinking the same. You are ruining my plan." He grumbled making me laugh.

"I am the elder one Ivano. Adjust with it." I smirked.

"You use this every time." He said eyeing me in frustration.

"Well, live with it." I said.

"What's happening here?" Tan suddenly appeared.

"Nothing, I am going to propose Aida." I said.

"You cheat. I am going to propose Carmy." I looked at him shock and I am sure Ivano did the same.

"What?" Ivano asked for confirmation.

"Yes. And I will not back down. I am proposing today." He said.

"Niether am I backing out." I said.

"Well, consider my proposal too." Ivano said.

"You too?" Tan and I exclaimed together.

"What's happening?" Alessandro asked as he joined our conversation.

"Well, we are arguing about who is going to propose today." Tan explained it to him and Ivano and I nodded.

"Propose? Don't you guys think you all are jumping large stride. If I know correctly, you all went into relationship very recently." He asked making me smile.

"Time does not describe the stage of relationship." I said.

"But still don't you think it's too fast? How you came to this decision?" He asked.

"Very easily actually. Aida helped a lot and she did that very selflessly. I realized that no one is going make so efforts for anyone. And I fear losing her. And obviously the intimacy." I said.

"And Idhaya handled my Enzo, loved him like her own. She stood by me even when I hurt her. When she was taken away, I realized I can't stay away from her. I could kiss her the whole life and never be tired." Ivano explained his side.

"And for me, Carmy ruined my family but that's the biggest favour she did on me. When she was lying on that hospital bed, I felt guilty that is for sure. But more than I felt like it pained somewhere when I realized how much she suffered. That if something happens to her, I will murder my own father. When we kissed each other for the first time, I felt I won something worth the world." Tan said his bit.

"Oh!" He just said this went into his own zone.

"I think you need some advice. Come on, blurt it out." Tan said.

"Well, today in the police station I kissed Ms. Francessa. She was actually ignoring me, ignoring means not actual ignoring. I mean she was not arguing with me and she was avoiding the conversations. I thought she felt bad that I said something mean that day. So I asked her if we can give each other some time and get to know each other." He explained making us three look at each other.

"Do you think you can stay away from kissing her?" I asked her.

"She asked the same thing." I smirked. Smart girl.

"What did you say?" Ivano asked.

"What could I say? I mean we are adults. Obviously, we can control each other." He said while chuckling.

"Oh boy!" We muttered together.

"What?" He asked.

"Nothing just thinking about what the girls are planning." I pointed towards the where girls were sitting having some serious discussion.
