Chapter 10 - He Caught Me In The Restaurant (It Wasn't Me)

About ten minutes passed and Satori made one final turned around a corner. I couldn't help but notice a line outside of some building. "Please don't tell me that's where you're taking me?"

"It is." He pulled up to a valet driver and got of the car. He waited for me to get out and I reluctantly did so. He then handed his keys to the valet driver and hooked one of his arms through one of mine, walking towards the line of people.

"Let me guess, you have a reservation here?" He didn't answer my question and just walked to the front of the line. He gave the person who was letting people inside his name and we were allowed to walk in. "I should have known" I thought as a waiter took us to our table.

The table we were seated at was right smack dab in the middle of the whole restaurant, giving everyone else the opportunity to just watch us. "Great, now I get to have fancy people watch me eat" I sighed as I sat down, not even waiting for Satori to pull out my chair.

"Is it that bad?" Satori asked me as the same waiter brought us our menus.

"Yes." I opened my menu and realize that I could not pronounce some of the food that the restaurant was offering. "Satori, how can I eat when I can't even pronounce half the names on the menu!" I let out sigh and stared at the menu, hoping I could find something I could pronounce without sounding like an idiot in front of the waiter.

"Look, babe. I can just order for both of us." He took his sunglasses off and sat them on the table. "I'm fluent in pretty much every language."

For some reason it sounded like he was telling those around us that instead of just me.

"Good for you." I settled on something that involved chicken...well I think it has chicken.

The waiter came back around with the drinks we order earlier and took our orders. While I was telling the waiter what I wanted, I couldn't help but notice Satori looking to his right. "What is he looking at?" I thought as I handed the waiter my menu and looked to where Satori was looking. "Oh, I see now." I saw him flash a girl with blonde hair and hazel eyes a smile. Of course the girl giggled and smiled back at him. "Date my ass" I thought as I took a drink from the water I ordered. I made the executive decision in not ordering any sort of alcoholic beverage.

Roughly thirty minutes or so passed and we got our meals. Turns out that I did order chicken but it was in the form of a soup. "Great." I poked at my food with my spoon.

"So, you enjoying our date so far?" Satori asked taking a sip from the glass of wine he ordered.

"Not really since my date keeps flirting with the girl next us" I mumbled. "Yeah, just wished I ordered something else instead."

Satori picked up some of his food on his fork and reached across the table. "Here, try my food." He made an 'ah' motion with his mouth as I just stared at him.

"What am I? A toddler?"

"You know some people actually feed each other on dates" he replied, still with his arm outstretched across the table.

I let out a huge sigh and opened my mouth, letting him feed me. Once I ate what was on his fork, he went back to put more food on it.

"Now I'm pretty sure everyone is watching us now" I thought as I looked around the room without moving my head. I could see homegirl give me a stank face.

"Want another bite?" Satori got ready to feed me again but I stopped him. "What? You didn't like it?"

"It was okay but I think I'll just go ahead and eat what I ordered." I picked my spoon up again and started to eat. "It's not bad once you get past all the salt that was put in it" I thought as I wiped my mouth and drank some more water. As I sat there, I could feel the strong urge to use the bathroom. "I should had peed when I was at the apartment" I thought as I stood up.
