Chapter 48

                      Jisung's pov

    Dad ordered leeknow to follow him to a room as I, Woojin and Hyunjin hyung followed too. Scoups and Mingyu are nowhere to be seen and it'll be better if they're away too.

     "Wont Dad get in trouble for killing him?" I somehow asked Woojin hyung as he chuckled.

     "That bastard isn't worth killing. Dad just wants to get the truth out. And our job will be done too as we'll know why that asshole played you. If the answers aren't satisfactory, maybe he'll think about what to be done next. But don't you think seeing dad so furious he'll just piss his pants" Woojin hyung said confidently smirking.

      "A real sight to witness" Hyunjin hyung said from behind putting hand on my shoulder and walking next to me.

     "I'm scared-" I mumble under my breath. I don't wanna see leeknow hurt. But just want him hurt in million ways coz the trouble he caused me and Taeyong. Alongside causing liabilities to our group's reputation too.

      "Don't be. He fucking deserves it, hannie. You need to take dad's side today. Be bold and confident. Don't just go all teary in front of him" Woojin hyung warned me with glaring eyes. It wasn't a joke now. And I won't go soft on him.

      "Okay. I'm ready. Bring on the fucking confession" I said fisting my palm and opening the door.

     I saw leeknow trapped in a chair with some wires around him as dad prepped a lie detector machine beside him. I could see the rage, feel it from distance. As leeknow cluelessly just sat there waiting to be fired by questions. As soon as I entered his normal scared eyes turned to teary ones. As if he was begging to just leave him. Let him go away from this nonsense. But he was the one to start it.

     I saw as dad sticked a needle on his hand letting the tip go in as he hissed in pain but was silent afterwards. A suction like thing was pressed on his chest as some parts of his stomach were covered by wires too. I've only seen this in movies but was gonna witness it live for the first time. I was growing nervous myself as his eyes searched me wherever in the room I was. I just open my eyes wide open to indicate not to fucking look at me as I nod a no. No, telling him that I can't freakin save him.

     When he's still staring at me, dad just slaps him a little and brings him to consciousness. "Kid. You should know the rules. Your heartbeat will tell if any of your answers are truth or lie. Don't try to fool us. I know your heart will never lie" dad said but at the last sentence looking at me. I gulped.

     The room is very lowly lit. The decorations of the room are looking dull cuz of the situation going on. I'm seated on the bed with hyungs. As we nervously go on looking at what's gonna happen next. I look over at Woojin hyung who nods in reassurance. On the other side of room only dad and leeknow are seated. Dad opposite to leeknow making sure only he is in sight of Leeknow's eye direction. 

     "I'll start now. Are you ready?" Dad asked in firm voice. A voice that can bring a dead man to life and kill him again ...

     "I guess I don't have a choice.." leeknow said lowly.

     "I asked are you ready?" Dad again asked in his deep firm voice and I started wondering how can this douche still play games.

     "Y-yes" leeknow stuttered gulping. And looked over me one last time. "I'm ready" he said before turning away to never look at me again ...

     ” first question. What is your name?" Dad asked.

     "Minho. Lee Minho. People like to call me leeknow" leeknow replied.
