Well, their trip was cut short, they almost passed the blockade when they were hit. "We won't be able to make it to Coruscant with the ship in this condition, we'll be blown to bits." The pilot told everyone. "We're going to have to land.".

So they landed on the desert planet Tatooine. "Okay, me, Natalia, and R2 are going to find parts, we'll be back soon." Qui-Gon said, "Obi-Wan you and the pilot will stay here with the ship. We'll be back soon. Come on Natalia, let's go." Qui-Gon said. The three were just a few metres from the ship when someone caught up.

"I was told I could come with you, I want to look around." Padmé said, "Your highness-" Qui-Gon started, but Natalia cut him off. "Master, I think it would be a good idea for her to come.. She's an expert on negotiations and I've been on this planet a few times, most citizens here don't hold an easy bargain." Natalia insisted, "You're probably right, young one." Qui-Gon said.

So they continued their journey into town, "Look, Master, there's a shop right there. We can see if they have any parts." Natalia said excitedly. The group went to the shop and were greeted by a blue pudgy winged creature.

"Hello, and welcome to my shop." The creature said, "Hello.. I'm looking for a hyperdrive, for a Naboo transport." Qui-Gon said, "Ah yes, come this way and see what we got." It said. Qui-Gon followed it to the back and left Natalia and Padmé alone.

Suddenly a blonde haired boy came out of the shadows, "Hello." He said with a warm smile, Natalia smiled back, "Hello. What's your name?" Natalia asked while pulling her sand colored robe around her. "My name's Anakin." He said happily, Natalia couldn't help but smile at his innocence. "My name's Natalia." She replied. Anakin smiled at her again until he looked at Padmé.

"Are you an angel?" He asked, she couldn't help but blush, "What makes you think that?" She said while laughing. "I've listened to deep space pilots' conversations and they say on the moons they see the most beautiful creatures. I assume you're from there?" Anakin asked, she shook her head, "Me and Natalia are from Naboo." Padmé said.

Anakin looked at the two like they were gods untilQui-Gon showed up again, "Come on let's go look elsewhere." He said while walking out of the shop. "Until we meet again Anakin." Natalia said as she turned around, her robe flowing behind her, accidentally revealing her lightsaber.

Natalia walked out with Padmé, following Qui-Gon closely. Natalia could sense she was being followed so she turned around to see Anakin. "Anakin what are you doing? We're doing important business." Natalia whispered, trying to keep up with Padmé.

"You're a Jedi. I saw your lightsaber." Anakin said, running up to Qui-Gon, "There's a storm coming. You need to find shelter." He yelled, causing Qui-Gon to jump a bit, "Our ship is on the outskirts of town, we'll be fine." Qui-Gon said calmly, "You'll never make it in time, come to my house until the storm is over." Anakin said while pulling on Qui-Gon's robes.

"We should, Master. We can continue our search in the morning." Natalia insisted, Qui-Gon agreed and followed Anakin to his home.

"Mom I'm home!" Anakin yelled as he walked in. "Ah, Ani. Who are these people?" The mother asked, "My name is Qui-Gon Jinn, this is Natalia Schulter and Padmé Amidala." Qui-Gon introduced the crew. "Nice to meet you, I'm Shmi Skywalker." Shmi said, welcoming them to her home.

"Well, I don't think I have enough food for all of us." Shmi said while looking down at the ground. "It's okay, Natalia and I have enough food capsules for all of us." Qui-Gon said, "You don't have to." Shmi said, but Qui-Gon insisted.

Soon it was time for supper. Everyone gathered around the table to eat their meal. "So, how long have you been in town?" Shmi broke the silence, "Less than a rotation. Our ship broke down and we need parts that we don't have." Natalia explained after shoveling a spoonful of food into her mouth.

"I'm sure you'll manage. You're Jedi!" Ani said excitedly, "What makes you think that?" Qui-Gon asked, "I saw your lightsaber." Anakin said, which caused Qui-Gon to chuckle. "How do you know I didn't kill a Jedi and steal his lightsaber?" Qui-Gon asked, causing Shmi to glare at him. "Don't be silly, no one can kill a Jedi." Anakin said.

He was so sure of himself, like he had no regrets, no boundaries. "What parts do you need anyway?" Shmi asked, changing the subject. "We need a hyperdrive. And the only shop that has it in this town doesn't take Republic credits." Natalia explained.

"You're not gonna get one of those cheap, definitely not around here." Anakin started, Shmi already glaring at him, "But the reward from the annual pod race could get the money!" Anakin said excitedly, "Mom!".

"Anakin. No, it's far too dangerous. You could die." Shmi said, shutting the conversation down. "You always tell me to help when I can, why won't you let me?" Ani said while sinking down into his seat. "Ani is right, you won't be able to get anything here with Republic credits. He may be your only hope." Shmi said, "You can do it. But you better win." Shmi said while ruffling Ani's hair.

Anakin smiled and ran to his room, Natalia followed closely. "Is that your droid?" Natalia asked him, looking at the metal human like droid. "Oh! Him! Yes, his name is See Threepio." Anakin said, turning him on.

"Oh dear me, I can't see a thing." Threepio said, walking around madly. Natalia laughed as Anakin fixed something on the top of his head, "Looks like his vision sensors weren't tuned." She said, trying not to laugh again. "I'm working on it, I'm working on it." Anakin said, he winded up the sensors and Threepio's eyes lit up.

"Oh. Who is this?" Threepio said, pointing at Natalia. "That's my new friend Natalia." Anakin said, "One day I'm gonna plate him in gold." Anakin said, staring at Threepio proudly.

"I'm sure he'll look lovely when he's done." Natalia assured him. She walked out of the room to see Shmi and Qui-Gon talking. "So who's the father?" Qui-Gon asked awkwardly, "There was no father." Shmi said, looking at the ground. Natalia gasped and looked at Anakin.
