A few days had passed, making today Saturday. Which means Harry comes over for dinner, I tried to talk to Julia and tell her to invite Niall since I know they will be dating soon, but she didn't feel like it.

Harry and I haven't been talking as much as we usually have, he told me him and the guys are working on their second album, so they hardly have time to talk, let alone hangout. On times that he could talk, we would text, call and FaceTime for at least thirty minutes to an hour.

Every time we would talk, he'd start freaking out about the dinner. I told him not to worry, that my father already likes him and he has nothing to worry about. Then, he'd start questioning me on what he should wear. I told him something casual, but a little dressy.

To be honest, I wasn't worried about my father not liking him. My father doesn't judge people right away, and by the looks of it, I could tell he already liked Harry. If it's anyone we should worry about, it's my mother.

By the way, I haven't spoken to my mother in almost a week. I wanted to call her and apologize, I know I shouldn't be the one to apologize, but she is my mother and I still care and love her. But, i'm not going to, this is her mess to fix. I'm always the one constantly fixing the problems that are my mother's fault.

"Is this too dressy?" I question, biting my lip, looking at Julia. I wore a white T-Shirt dress that had black stripes, I had on my black vans, and I simple choker to complete the outfit.

"No." She replied, shaking her head. Her mouth slowly formed into a smirk. "You trying to impress Harry?"

I roll my eyes, with a smile on my face. Turning back to my mirror to fix my hair.

"Maybe." I linger. But I couldn't help it, the more I talked to him the more my feelings got stronger. I know I shouldn't, there is no way anything could ever work between us. He's constantly working on music and tours, and I live in Texas and will be attending college soon.

"I can't help it though." I say, finishing brushing my hair, joining her on my bed. "The more I talk to him, the more my feelings grow. I know I shouldn't feel this way, if anything were to happen between us there is no way it would work out."

Julia shifts, getting up from her laying position, and sitting up. She sat so her body could face me. Then she looked at me with her eyebrows raised.

"And why not?" She questions. I look at her with a 'really' face, thinking that the answer was pretty straight forward.

"Julia." I began, turning my body a little to face her. "He's a musician. He is busy making music, touring, and he lives here, in California. I live in Texas, and i'm going to be going to college soon. Long distance relationships hardly ever work out."

"So." She states, shrugging her shoulders. "If you like something, or in your case, someone, you should go for it. I know you really like Harry, a lot. You've never felt this way about someone before, I think you should go for it."

I look at her, then I look down at my fingers, playing with them nervously. I don't say anything because she's right. I'm just nervous i'm going to like him too much, then whatever happens is going to end, and i'm going to be an emotional wreck.

"Look, go for it, don't go for it." She continues. "But in my opinion. He really likes you, he listens and he is himself when he's with you. You make him feel like a regular teenage boy, who has a crush on a beautiful girl. You like him a lot too, because you feel more like yourself, and he ignites a spark in you that you can not explain."

I bit my lip as I synced in her words. All of it was true, but I was too scared to admit it out loud. But I knew I had too. I was about to open my mouth and tell her everything and anything. Then, next thing I know, the doorbell is ringing. I knew it was Harry. My heart began to race.

"Looks like he's here." Was all I managed to say, giving a small smile. Julia smirked, enjoying my pain. I mentally slapped her.

I made my way downstairs, Julia trailing behind me. The closer I got to the door, the more my heart began to race. My hands got shaky and bit sweaty, I occasionally rubbed them against my dress. Once we made it downstairs, Julia headed to the kitchen, leaving me to answer the door alone.

I quickly opened the door, revealing Harry. He wore black skinny jeans, black boots, a white T-shirt, with a grey suit jacket. It was dressy, but also casual. He looked very attractive in it, and I couldn't help but stare. No words. He stared at me as well, but he probably thought I was acting weird.

"Uh, Paislee." He said, with a smirk on his face. "Are you checking me out?"

His last few words, took me out of trance. I blushed.

"Come on in, Styles." I said, ignoring his obvious question. "The meal is this way, follow me."

I closed the door behind him, walking past him and leading him into the dining room. Charlie was setting the table, putting the last of the meals on the table. My father and Julia were already in there usual seats, but Charlie sat next to Julia, so Harry and I could sit next to each other.

"Hey!" My father said, excitingly. I cringed with a smile on my face, seeing how weird it was that he was so happy Harry was here. He got up from his seat, shaking Harry's hand.

"Hello Mr. Martin." He said, breaking away from the shake. "Nice to see you again." My father only nodded, taking his seat. Harry and I made our way to our seats, sitting down. "Hey Julia." He waved in her direction.

"Hey." She said, giving a polite smile.

"Niall keeps talking about you." He teased. I couldn't help but laugh. The spotlight of 'feelings' finally being focused on her. All she did was blush.

Charlie made her way to the table, taking her seat next to my father. Her and Harry exchanged a friendly smile, then we were all set to eat.

"Well." My father said. "Let's begin."
