"Are you sure about this? It's pretty big, will leave a nasty bruise."

"Throw!" the war-form orders and Vi does as instructed.

Al'Aeen shreds the fist-sized rock to pieces mid-flight. Going to the wall of the area they are in, he stabs into it, puncturing it for a couple of inches.

"It's not all the way in, but it goes to show how efficient it would be against the warhogs. Where you should be aiming for vulnerable points anyway. You, as a wolf war-form, may not have the same power behind it to pierce the rocky wall, but for muscle, joints and maybe even some of the thinner bones in a warhogs body, it should be very efficient. Quick shift to wolf and attack me!"

"No way! I'm not getting anywhere near that!"

"Pretend I'm in the bear form."

She does as instructed, her wolf form moving fast around him, trying to find blind spots, to outmaneuver him like she would do if he was a bear.

Eventually, Al'Aeen lets her get behind him and she charges.

He sidesteps and gives her a light shove, her landing now missing her mark by a few feet, but he follows through, grabbing her hind legs with one hand and lifting her up.

Her combat experience, however, kicks in and she goes for a bite towards his neck, only to be met by the other clawed hand, her snout less than an inch away from his palm, but the five sharp points around her snout and face preventing any further movement.

She presents her submission in the form of a tongue licking the war-form's hand so she puts her down and shifts back to his human form, taking great effort to not show the strain it has put on him. Grabbing a pair of shorts conveniently nearby, he takes a seat and urges her closer.

She comes over after shifting, sitting directly in front of him, in her cross-legged resting pose.

"That was awesome! You mean you're teaching me to become like that?"

"You could have stayed a wolf you know, we can mind link."

"But you didn't, so why should I?"

"Could you at least put some clothes on?"

"You've already seen everything and touched almost everything you've seen."

"Please?"

"By the Moons, I can't believe you're still blushing! What is it with you and nudity? Fine!" she finally concedes and gets her sports bra and shorts on before sitting right back.

"Ready?"

"Yes!"

"Eline, you there?"

"Always am," Eline answers directly in the mind link.

"Good! Both of you listen carefully! Firstly, do you think you have good control over shifting from human to wolf and back?"

"Yes."

"Better than 4 days ago?"

"Definitely, yes!"

"Very good! Now would you say that when you change forms, you either relinquish control over your body to your other half or resume control from your other half?"

"Well, not anymore, but in the beginning, we were taught to do it that way. In time, it became automatic somehow. Like walking."

"It's good that you know what I mean at least. Each one of you, human and animal, focus on your inherent form. As you are a human now, prepare to give your body to your animal side and Eline you get ready to take it and change it to the wolf..."

"So when do we get to the war form part?"

"Now, if you'll let me. So do this very slowly, both holding your form in mind and meet in the middle but when you get there, Eline, grab onto the body, and the changes that are already in motion but Vi, do not let go entirely of the human form. You two need to meet in the middle and agree to share, and a new type of body should take form, one that will need both of you to sustain. Furthermore, it could help if Vi focuses on maintaining the bipedal form and mobility of a human while Eline, you bring the claws, teeth, and strength into the equation. The other things are not as important. Begin!"
