With a sense of tightness around his heart and a fear of losing people he doesn't even know or even worse, those he does, Al'Aeen runs in bear form to the middle of the front line, the warriors splitting and closing back the ranks as he goes through, broadcasting in the mind link for everyone to hear.

'D-force Irregulars split in D2, numbering 200 and reinforce A2 where you will answer to Conall. The remaining 500, you are now D1 Irregulars, you are to reinforce the coyotes and the war-forms in A1.

D1, listen up! You will form at the back of A1 and CY initially, but you are to swell their ranks, effectively giving the impression you are itching for a fight.

CY and A1, since you can shift and you are obviously more intimidating than the irregulars, you need to randomly shift back to wolf or coyote form and mingle with the non-war-forms, then come up at another point and shift back to war-forms.

Everyone facing the large warhog group must do this!

We want to give them the impression that we are simply switching the front lines so they can rest, with a never-ending supply of war-forms available.

Again, D1 swell the ranks and keep moving around, snap your teeth at them, if you find an easy bite with minimal risks, take it and run to a new spot.

CY you may be limited to your area, but you can still switch front lines with back ones, left to right, etc.

A1, remember that your reach is longer in war-form, so keep in mind that even if you have wolves between your legs, you still need to be the front line. If a warhog is dumb enough to get within your reach, don't go after him, but rather pull him to you, then let everyone tear him to shreds. Once a new war-form capable wolf is beside you, shift and switch, then head to another spot along our lines.

Let's give them the feeling we are thousands, not merely hundreds!

Oh yeah, when the first irregulars reach you and start filling all the gaps between your legs, everyone needs to howl and growl as loud and as happy as you can.

Let's make those suckers think we have just received reinforcements from outside the canyon!

And if you guys need a reason to cheer, B-force along with C and the cats just wiped the floor with the first warhog group, and Conall has the other ones greatly reduced in numbers, and hard pressed against the wall!

So while the cats will be rappelling down the canyon walls to make sure no warhog survives of the ones they pushed over the edge, the 700 irregulars in C-force will further reinforce us, while B will merge with A2 so they can split the warhogs there and exterminate them!

We have the easiest job!

We need to be confident, look fierce and scary!

Push them back slowly or hold them in place until there are no other warhogs left except the ones here, which we are caging in!

Now growl your lungs out and push them back!'

'Conall, how are things over there?' Al'Aeen asks, after snatching another two warhogs and literally throwing them to the wolves.

The move has been successful so far, not necessarily in the fact that he is reducing their numbers, but after the third time he's done it, the warhog line seems to just move back away from him, making a gap and trying to suck him in.

They are definitely not stupid.

So he's had to run back to his own line empty handed multiple times. However, this has gained them ground, and soon groups of war-forms started doing the same move, running to grab an exposed warhog before dragging him back to their lines, kicking and squealing.

At least until the warhogs learned to keep perfectly even lines, leaving no one particularly exposed, and moving back whenever the war-forms tried to come closer for a grab.

The few warhog counters have been met with claw swipes, dodges, and eye gouging, not to mention the occasional teeth to the throat.

'This is Aaron, we have arrived and joined Conall's group. Sorin went straight in and split the warhogs here in two. It shouldn't take long for us to dispose of them. The D2 irregulars were released to join you and you should start seeing C-Force arriving all around your position as well. We are actually winning this fight without our own forces being wiped out!'

'Not out of the woods yet! Focus and be careful!'

'Understood!'

'D-force leader, the C-force irregulars should be arriving soon. Coordinate positioning with him, and teach him how to best apply the swelling maneuver.'

'Got it!'

'Nazih, status?'

'Helping the warhogs that survived the fall reach the Promised Lands. Though we should have let them suffer!'

'Remember they can't feel pain, so no point really. You realize your purpose was to make sure none of them are able to reach the noncombatants, right?'

'Of course. 3 dead, 5 wounded badly but will recover eventually, 12 with light injuries that can keep on fighting. I don't think things could have gone any better!'

'We could have had no deaths at all!'

'Welcome to the reality of war, bear man!'
