i showed taeyang's "eyes, nose, lips" to my parents. mama said the music is okay, but the language annoys her because she doesn't understand it (as if she understands all the latino songs she loves). dad said it's "just another emotionless gay song". then he told me that an example of an emotional and good song is aerosmith's "don't wanna close my eyes". and i agree, but that's a whole different genre. i really don't understand my parents' views on music. i don't understand their opinions and- i don't know. my day hasn't been the best to begin with and this just really made my heart break a little bit. i thought i wouldn't be hurt my their words at all, but it hurts.
