Mending What Broke: Todoroki Shoto x Reader

All Or Nothing

"To your right!" Midoriya yelled as The Hero killer dodged each attack that Todoroki shot. My Hands ached as I tried to activate my quirk again.

Looking up to the fight, I noticed how, The Hero Killer ran passed the many ice mounds that came from the ground, as well as Todoroki's attempts to stop the Killer with his fire.

"Ice and fire. Hasn't anyone told you? You rely on your quirk too much? Makes you a careless fighter,"

"Shoto!"

"Todoroki!"

In the blink of an eye, The Hero killer had avoided Todoroki's flames, his sword going diagonally across the boy's chest. Leaving him no way to dodge the attack. My blood ran cold as my hands clenched together in fear.

'Why did my quirk stop? Why now! Dammit, come on! Do something!'

"RECEPTO BURST!"

Out of the corner of my eye, Iida used his quirk to kick both Hero Killer and his sword away from Todoroki and me. The Hero Killer's sword's blade breaking in the process.

"Iida!"

"You're free too? Guess his quirk isn't as great as I thought it was."

"Todoroki, Midoriya, L/n...This has nothing to do with you. I apologize, I'm okay, but I won't the two of you shed any more blood for me,"

"No use pretending to be a hero now. A person's true nature doesn't change in just a few minutes. You'll never be more than a fraud. You're the sickness that destroys this society and ruin the name Hero! Someone must teach you a lesson,"

"You're a fundamentalist lunatic. Iida, Don't listen to this murderer's nonsense."

"Yeah, I mean look at what he's done... He has no rights whatsoever to be talking bad about others like that,"

"No, He's right...I have no right to call myself a hero," My eyes, widened slightly as blood rushed down the side of Iida's arm. "there's no way II can back down. If I give up now, the name Ingenium will die,"

"Pathetic!"

 Before The Hero Killer could do anything, Todoroki, was quick to push himself in front of Iida, blasting the killer with his flames. His actions earning an angered Native to shout.

"You idiots! The Hero Killer is only after me and that kid in the white armor! Stop fighting back! Just get out of here!"

"I don't think he'd let me run even if I wanted too!"

Watching as The Hero Killer Jumped from each of Todoroki's attacks, my attention was captured by Iida as he tried to fire up his engines, but to no use. He groaned in annoyance before calling Todoroki for his attention.

"Todoroki! Can you regulate your temperatures!"

"Not well with my left but yes I can!"

"You got to freeze my leg for me! Without plugging the exhaust!"

While the two of them figured out a plan, The Hero Killer's temper raised, as he threw another knife. The object aimed to Todoroki, but Iida was quick for the knife landed on his arm instead.

"No, Iida!"

"Iida!"

"Why won't you stay down?!"

 Once again Iida rushed to block the knife.

"Iida!" Todorki's flames extinguished in worry of his friend's wellbeing.

"Iida stop it! You're bleeding enough as it is!" I yelled as the stress of the situation began to pile onto itself.

"Hurry! There's no time!" Without any more hesitation, Todoroki was quick to freeze Iida's receptors, instantly

"It's done!"

With Todoroki's words, Iida ripped out the blades in his arm's with his teeth. Todorki's fire drove The Hero Killer up the side of the building. Bothe Midoriya and Iida taking the chance to use their quirk on the villain.

I couldn't help the small smile on my face as the situation seemed to be in our control.

"You go, guys," Todoroki spoke. His words confirming my thoughts.

As the two made contact with the villain, Midoriya's fist on the man's face, while Iida's knee in the man's side. The impact of the punch making Midoriya hold his arm in pain. Todoroki's left side lighting up seeing his chance to strike.

In the blink of an eye, The Hero Killer took hold of his sword, slicing at Iida, just missing him.

"Don't let him get away!"

Iida kicked the killer in the side, as Todoroki's flames charred the villain's face. The two heroes fell to the ground, tired. Before the could hit, Todoroki made another ice ramp helping the two down safely, only for them to hit their heads on the speed bump Todoroki made.

"Hold up! Keep fighting!" My body tensed as I watched the smoke and dust clear, everyone sightly taken back from the killer's knocked out form.

"I swear to god. If he moves I'm gonna throw a fit," I mumbled, squeezing my eyes shut trying to ignore the blurring colors.

"He's gotta be out after that," Midoriya, spoke standing.

"Then let's restrain him. Maybe we could gather some rope,"

"Yeah, and take all his weapons too,"

"Good idea,"
