For the past week now both Kanan and Zeb had been acting strange, and I had no idea why. They would be at each other's throats for no reason. They would also spend most of the time following me around and asking if I needed help with stuff, and then they would fight about who was helping.
"Need any help?" Zeb asked as he walked up to me.
"No I'm goo-"
"Zeb quit bothering (Y/n)! Here let me help you." Kanan said as he walked up to me and grabbed my bag.
"I wasn't bothering her!" Zeb snapped as he grabbed the bag.
"Okay! Give me my bag!" I yelled as I tore it from Zeb's hands.
"Both if you leave the ship now! Don't come back until you have both grown some censor!" I ordered.
They went to argue but I threw them out and shut the door. Soon it was time to leave and I asked Hera to go get them while I left to get some rest. I made my way to my shared room with Sabine and plopped down on the ground.
"Okay what's going on with those two idiots?" I asked as I looked up at Sabine.
"Which idiots?" She asked as we watched Ezra chase after Chopper.
"Kanan and Zeb. They have been acting strange."
"Oh they both like you." She said as she grabbed her spray paint and started to change our walls, again for the third time.
"Seriously? I thought Kanan and Hera was a thing?" I asked as she handed me her empty paint bottle.
"Nope, she done told him he wasn't her type. Said that she liked guys that could fly." She said as she shrugged her shoulders.
"Oh, I'm not surprised. Wait is that why she flirts with Fenn Rau?"
"To bad he likes Kryze." Sabine said calmly.
I saw Chopper chase Ezra through the hallway and I shook my head.
"So what do I do about them?" I asked softly.
"Well Ezra and Chopper are lost causes, but you could throw them out the airlock."
"Not them, Kanan and Zeb. Thought that isn't to bad an idea."
"Guess you have to choice. Do you like Kanan or do you like Zeb?" She asked softly.
"Well...-"
Kanan
"Well... I like Kanan." I said softly.
"Why?" Sabine asked softly.
"He is a good guy, he took us in when we had no one. I guess I feel in love with how kind he is."
"So you love him?" She asked with a smirk.
"Yes, without a shadow of a doubt."
"Good. Hi Kanan." She said as she left the room.
I turned to see Kanan in the doorway with a grin on his face.
"How long have you been there?" I asked as a blush appeared on my face.
"Would it help if I said I just got here?" He asked softly.
"Would you be telling the truth?" I asked softly.
"No, so.... you like me." He said with a smile.
"Yes, I like you-"
I was cut off by him pulling me against his chest and leaning down and smashing his lips against mine. I smiled into the kiss and pulled him closer.
Zeb
"Well... I like Zeb." I said as I bit my lip.
"Zeb? Really?" She asked shocked.
"I don't know why, but I feel safe with him. Zeb... Zeb makes me feel loved and special."
"That is the cutest thing ever. I'm gonna tell him." Sabine said as she rushed out of the room.
"Sabine! Don't you dare!" I yelled as I chased after her.
By the time I had caught up with her she had already spilled my secret.
"Zeb! (Y/n) loves you!" Sabine yelled.
"Sabine! Shut up!" I yelled as I tackled her.
"That true?" Zeb asked with a blush.
"Um.... well you see... I.... Yes." I said as I looked at the ground.
I saw a smile break on Zeb's face and I was pulled into a tight embrace. Zeb let out a laugh as he spun me around.
"You have no idea how happy I am to hear you say that." He said softly.
"I got an idea." I said as I leaned up and gently pecked his lips.
Surprise!
"Well... I don't like either of them." I said softly.
"Seriously? Who do you like then?" Sabine asked with a frown.
"I like my boyfriend." I said with a laugh.
"You have a boyfriend? Who?"
"Rex."
"What!" A voice yelled.
I turned to see Zeb and Kanan standing outside the door looking shocked as ever.
"You're dating Rex?" Zeb asked shocked.
"Have been for awhile now. Ever since he joined we have been getting close and after a week of talking he asked me out. We have been together for two months."
"Kallus, I'd rather you be with Ezra." Kanan said as he turned and left the room.
"I'd rather you be with Sabine." Zeb said as he turned and left the room.
I shook my head and let out a laugh.
"You really with Rex?"
"No, I'm dating Kallus, but they would of freaked out." I whispered.
She let out a laugh and I smiled as I threw her spray paint away. A week passed before we returned to base and I was greeted by Kallus.
"How was the mission?" He asked calmly.
"Boring, glad to be back." I said as I wrapped my arms around his neck and pecked his lips.
"You said you were with Rex!" A voice yelled.
I turned to see Zeb glaring at Kallus and Kanan looking at me shocked.
"Yea, I lied." I said as I shrugged my shoulders.
Kallus let out a laugh and shook his head as he kissed my forehead before leading me away.
