32. "I hate you because if I didn't... I'd love you."

33. "Don't go."

He was the most annoying, most stubbornest man alive and I hated him. He was so strict and so bossy and it made me want to strangle him. Don't get me wrong he had his moments but it was rare, very rare.

"Alright Wolfpack! Let's get a move on!" The man of my anger ordered.

"Can't we rest just a little bit more, Commander?" Boost asked with a groan.

Wolffe sent him a look and Sinker quickly grabbed Boost and dragged him away. I let out a sigh and crossed my arms over my chest as I walked up to Wolffe.

"Commander, I am ordering you to give your men some rest." I said sternly.

"Doctor you don't order me to do anything." He growled out.

"As the doctor I have a say in what you do, and if I think that it goes against your men's safety then I put rank you. Now I am ordering you to let these men rest." I growled out.

"With all do respect I don't give a crap what you think." He growled out.

"Commander Wolffe, Doctor (L/n). Is there a problem?" Master Plo Koon asked.

"No."

"Yes." I said quickly.

He looked at me and I smiled softly.

"Commander Wolffe is over working his troopers, and going against a direct order from his doctor." I said sweetly.

"A stupid order."

"Commander, in the health of the clones, Dr. (L/n) our ranks you." Plo said calmly.

"Yes General." He said with a frown.

I smiled in victory and watched Plo walk away. I turned to look at Wolffe and saw him glaring at me.

"You're a child." He growled out.

"Me? Because I'm trying to keep your men safe and healthy?" I asked with a frown.

I could feel the anger start to boil inside of me. How dare he insult me. He had no right, not when he himself was the biggest child alive.

"You don't care about our safety! You only care about getting in my way and making my life horrible!" He yelled.

"Go screw yourself!" I yelled as I turned and walked away.

Soon it was time for me to get back to work and I watched as Wolffe and his team where forced to leave. In truth the real reason I had ordered them to rest was because I knew Wolffe hadn't slept in over 22 hours and I was worried about him and my worry was right, because he soon came into my clinic injured and near death.

"What happen?" I asked as I rushed to his bedside.

"Ventress." Plo said softly.

I nodded my head and saw that Wolfe's eye had been gauged out. I quickly got to work on stabilizing him and when that was done I bandages him up.

"How is he?" Plo asked softly.

"He needs rest, he won't be allowed in the field for awhile. Not until I clear him." I said sternly.

I looked down at his sleeping form and frowned.

"He shouldn't of even been out there to begin with." I said angrily.

"That I'm afraid we both agree on." Plo said as he turned and left the room.

As the days past I spent most of my time waiting for Wolffe to walk up.

"I hate you so much." I said softly.

I let out a sigh and shook my head.

"I hate you because if I didn't... I'd love you." I said as I stared down at his sleeping form.

I placed my head in my hands and let out a groan.

"Yo sure so infuriating, you never listen and you always do what you think should be done. If you would of listened you wouldn't be hurt..... why didn't you just listen?" I asked in a whisper.

Soon I was sent word he had woke up and I rushed to his room. I stopped running at his door and walked inside to see Wolffe sitting up and talking to a nurse.

"So how is the good Commander feeling?" I asked as I looked at his chart.

He didn't say anything and I looked up to see him staring at his hands. I let out a sigh as I handed his chart to the nurse.

"He won't allow me to clean his wound." She explained.

"I'll take it from here. You can leave."

She left and I walked over to Wolffe and pulled out some bandages.

"Okay look at me." I ordered.

When he didn't I roughly grabbed his face and forced him to look at me.

"Let me go." He growled out.

"No, I am not allowing you to die because you are to stubborn to let us clean your wound! Now quiet being a child and let me help you!" I yelled.

He looked at me shocked and quiet struggling. I set down on the edge of the bed and unraveled his bandages. I looked at his eye, or what use to be his eye. I gently cleaned around it and then bandaged it back up. I went to leave but he grabbed my hand.

"Don't go." He whispered.

I nodded my head and set back down.

"How do you feel?" I asked softly.

"It... I don't feel anything there." He said softly.

"That's because of the numbing cream, I didn't want you to feel any pain." I said softly.

"I heard you." He said softly.

"What?"

"While I was out... I heard all of it, and... you're right. If I had listened to you non of this..."

"Why didn't you listen to me?" I asked softly.

"Because I liked how it got you to talk to me, even if it was you yelling at me.... it made me... it made me feel like you cared. Even when I didn't want to believe you did."

"Wolffe, I have always cared about you. About all of you."

"So... did you mean what you said, about... loving me?"

"I... Yes. You can go ahead and laugh-"

I was cut off by him gently pulling me into a gentle kiss. I let out a yelp, but my shock quickly disappeared and I pulled him closer. I smiled as he wrapped his arms around me and hugged me.

"I love you too." He said softly.

Me and Plo watching from the window with Anakin and Ahsoka.

"Finally, I thought your son would never admit his feelings." I said calmly.

"As did I."

"What are you guys talking about Wolffe isn't Plo's-"

"Don't question it Skyguy." Ahsoka said as she shook her head.

"Plo... could you adopt me too?" I asked as I looked up at me.

"I only adopt Togruta's and clones."

Brings out Togurta homemade head piece.

"How did you-"

"Magic." I said as I waved my hands through the air.

"How old are you again?" Plo asked calmly.

"20?"

"You're an adult, can't legally adopt you."

Brings out forged birth certificate that says I'm a clone.

"In clone years, I'm 6."

Plo lets out a groan and signs adoption paper that Ahsoka magically pulled out of her pocket.
