When I felt the first contraction I let out a yelp of pain and nearly fell to the floor. I felt arms around me and turned to see a knight of Ren.
"My lady?" He asked softly.
"The baby..... is coming!" I gasped out as another contraction hit.
I was quickly carried to the med bay and my doctor was called.
"So our little prince wants to come early." The doctor said with a smile.
"Or princess!" I gasped out.
"Alright, has someone notified Ren?" He asked softly.
I shook my head no and he pushed a button.
"Kylo Ren to medbay." He said sternly.
He moved away from the button and put his gloves on.
"We will wait a few minutes before we start." He said calmly.
Ten minutes passed and Kylo still hadn't showed.
"Sir, Ren is not on the ship." A woman said.
I felt fear overcome me as I laid my head on the pillow.
"I'm sorry, but we have to start." He said softly.
I nodded my head and he sent me a smile. Nearly a hour and a half later I heard the sound of a baby.
"Congratulations you had a healthy baby boy." He said softly.
He went to hand me my son but another contraction hit me.
"You shouldn't still be having so bad of contractions.... unless." He handed the nurse my son and then crouched down.
"Looks like we are having twins." He said with a laugh.
Another hour and I heard another cry.
"A baby girl." He said with a smile.
I smiled as two nurses brought my children to me and handed them to me. I set up and looked down at them.
"They are beautiful." The nurse said softly.
"Anyone contacted my husband?" I asked softly.
"We got a hold of him, he is on his way back now." He said softly.
"Thank you." I said as my eyes never left my children.
They were soon taken to be cleaned and I was cleaned up myself. They gave me new sheets and clothes and I smiled as I was left with my children. I gently held them and rocked them back and forth. I heard the door open and I looked up to see my husband.
"Ben, come say hi to our children." I said with a smile.
He removed his mask and walked over to me. He kneeled beside me on the ground and I saw tears stream down his face as he stared at them.
"Want to hold your son or your daughter first?" I asked softly.
"Can't I hold them both?" He asked in a whisper.
I scooted over and he set beside me on the bed. I gently passed them over to him and a smile broke off on his face.
"Look at them they are so beautiful." He whispered.
"Padmé has a attitude, I think she got it from you." I said with a smile.
"And Ani?"
"He is like his momma."
"We won't get any sleep then." He said with a chuckle.
"Sorry to intrude, have you picked the names yet?" A nurse asked.
"Yes, her name is Padmé Breha Solo after her great grandmother's, and his name is Anakin Bail Solo after his great grandparents." I said with a smile.
The nurse nodded her head and left the room.
"Thank you." Ben said softly.
"For what?" I asked with a smile.
"For everything." He said as he leaned down and kissed my forehead.
