It wasn't that much to ask, and for any normal human being they would have no trouble answering it, but Maul was no normal human being. Maul was a sith and a very powerful one at that.

I had known of what he was the moment I had met him and I knew that life would not be easy with him, but what I hadn't realized was that it would be so hard, to get him to just say three words.

"I don't get it why it's so hard for him to say he loves me!" I exclaimed as I threw my hands up into the air with a groan.

"Probably never heard the words before." My best friend said with a laugh.

"Oh he has heard them. I say them to him nearly everyday." I said as I plopped down on on her couch.

"He's a sith, what do you expect?"

"I don't know, a sign that I mean something to him! You know I bet if I left him he wouldn't care."

"Do it. If he cares he will fight for you, if he doesn't he will allow you to go."

I thought it over and even though I knew it was a horrible idea, I decided to do it. I made my way to the throne room and Maul looked up at me. He motioned for everyone to leave and I held my breath.

"Something is on your mind." He said calmly.

"I'm leaving." I said calmly.

"Where too?"

"I don't know, but I don't want you to follow me." I said calmly.

"When will you be back?" He asked as he met my eyes.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not coming back." I said softly.

"I see." He said softly.

"Is that all you have to say? I tell you I am leaving you and you act like it doesn't faze you." I said as I felt anger boil up inside of me.

"I know you will return... you always return."

"Not this time, I will not return this time... not unless it is by you bringing me here." I said calmly.

"I will never chase after a woman."

"Then I mean nothing to you. Goodbye my Lord." I said before turning and walking out of the room.

I could feel tears start to fall, but I quickly whipped them away and continued to my ship. I didn't know where I would go, but I knew that I was never going to come back.

Ten years

I let out a sigh as I pulled my knees to my chest and looked up at the stars. It had been ten years since Maul and I had split and I had yet to heard anything from him. I still waited for him to come find me, but I guess it was to much to ask for.

"Maul... I miss you." I whispered.

I closed my eyes and felt the wind blow through my hair. It was peaceful and you couldn't hear anything. I heard a twig snap and my eyes shot open. I quickly stood up and looked around.

"Who is out there!" I yelled.

I looked around and then let out a sigh as I saw a rabbit hop out. I shook my head and turned and walked inside the house. I started a small fire and then started to cook. I soon heard the door open and smiled softly. I heard the familiar sound of metal on the ground and turned to see Maul behind me.

"I see you chased after me." I said with a small smile.

His eyes met mine and before I could say anything else his hands were on both side of my face and he pulled me into a deep and passionate kiss. His hands ran through my hair and I let out a light laugh.

"I thought you didn't chase after women?" I asked sweetly.

"Only the ones I love." He said softly.

My eyes went wide and he sent me a small smirk before he pulled me into another kiss. I smiled against his lips and pulled him closer.

"I love you too." I said against his lips.
