It had been nearly fifteen years since I had last seen Rex, and it was strange to see the man who once held my heart. When I realized who Ahsoka had sent us to get, I felt fear course through me, I had tried my hardest to forget about Rex, and I was close, but now.... all those feelings came rushing back.

"Okay what's goin in?" Ezra asked as he set beside me in the cafeteria.

"What do you mean?" I asked with a frown.

"Since Rex came here you have been ignoring him, and everyone." He said with a frown.

"It's nothing, just worried about all of you." I said softly.

Ezra sent me a look and I let out a sigh.

"I could never lie to you. I use to be in love with Rex, but because I was a Jedi I couldn't act on those feelings." I explained.

"You aren't a Jedi now."

"I'm still a Jedi, and the Jedi's number one rule was no attachments."

"You already failed, I mean you practically adopted Sabine."

"Well-"

"And you adopted Zeb as your brother."

"I-"

"And Kanan and Hera are like your siblings."

"Ezra-"

"I'm like your nephew."

"You see-"

"And you even claim Chopper as family."

"Okay! I get it." I said as I glared at him.

"So what's different with Rex?"

"Because I'm not in love with any of you.... falling in love with someone can lead to the dark side and I'm afraid that if I let my love for Rex out.... and I lose him.... I'll fall."

"(Y/n), you could never fall to the dark side, you are to strong." Ezra said softly.

"I've nearly fell twice... I won't make it a third." I said as I turned and walked away.

Soon Kanan asked me to meet them outside of the base in a cave. When I arrived I saw Rex inside.

"(Y/n)? What are you doing here?" Rex asked with a frown.

"Kanan asked to see me, what are you doing here?"

"Ahsoka asked to see me." He said with a frown.

"Did Ezra tell you too?"

"Yea, Why?"

I quickly turned to leave but the cave caved in and I was pulled back by Rex.

"Ezra! You could of killed me!" I yelled.

"Ezra isn't here!" A voice yelled.

"Kanan?" I asked shocked.

"Sorry but we are tired of listening to you complain!" Another voice yelled.

"Ahsoka?" Rex asked with a frown.

"Yep! We are tired of you two complaining about each other so we made this plan with Ezra, only way we are letting you out is if you guys talk it out." Kanan growled out.

"We will die of lose of oxygen you idiot!"

"No you won't, we put oxygen tanks in there, have fun!"

I heard them walk away and I let out a groan.

"Can you lift the rocks?" Rex asked calmly.

"I could but without help it would cause a landslide." I said with a groan.

"So... guess we have no choice but to talk it out." He said as he plopped down on the ground.

"I am not giving into them." I said as I set across from him.

A hour passed and we stayed silent, that was until Rex let out a sigh.

"Okay I give." He said as he set up.

"I'm not."

"Well I do, Ahsoka put me in here because for the past few weeks I've been complaining about you." He said softly.

"Why?"

"I know you don't like me, and I'm sure that's because I'm a clone and you think I betrayed yo-"

"I never thought you betrayed me and what makes you think I don't like you?" I asked with a frown.

"You ignore me, if you see me in the hallway you turn and walk the other way, what else would make you do that?"

"Maybe me being in love with you, and not wanting to admit it." I said quickly.

He looked at me shocked and I bit my lip and looked at the ground.

"Forget I said that. Must be loss of oxyge-"

I was cut off by a hand raising my head up and something soft gently pressing against my lips. My eyes fluttered shut and I pulled him closer.

"You have no idea how long I've wanted to hear you say those words." He whispered.

"What, forget I said that, must be loss of oxygen?" I asked with a smile.

He let out a chuckle and shook his head. I smiled as I leaned forward and gently pecked his lips. I heard moving and turned my head to see the rocks where gone. I frowned as I saw Ezra, Kanan, and Ahsoka walk in.

"Count if five to walk right back out of this cave." I growled out.

"We were only trying to help." Kanan said softly.

"Five."

"You aren't actually mad? Are you?" Ahsoka asked softly.

"Three."

"You skipped four." Kanan said with a frown.

"Two."

"Guys... run!" Ezra exclaimed.

They took off and I smiled as Rex stood up and helped me stand.

"You weren't actually going to do anything were you?" Rex asked with a smile.

"No, but I am telling Hera." I said happily.

He let out a laugh and led me out of the cave.
