Su Yun looked at the floating numbers in front of him, his lips curving, musing about something interesting. Then he lowered his sight, away from the notification and towards the lone figure standing in the middle of the empty parking area down below.
He witnessed everything that Qi Yan had done to Qi Cheng since the beginning; the slap, the admonition, everything. His gaze fixated on the lone figure that tried to hold back his tears.
Su Yun clicked his tongue in sympathy, what a pitiful fellow...
His sympathy wasn't derived from something insignificance; but rather from what he experienced.
His mind brought back memories during his earlier missions, to when he was given a role of a second male lead. He remembered the loneliness and the suffering he had to go through to please a woman he didn't even have an interest in...
He sighed, crossing his arms over his chest as he leaned his body to the wall, looking out to the window.
Well.., that's the life of a second male lead. At least he's in a better shape than I am.
Imagine if he was thrown into a group of zombies without a gun to protect himself just because he rejected the female lead of the world....
Yeah, nope, he won't even survive for a second.
Moreover, the young man wasn't even 'conscious' that he was merely a character whose fate was decided by a stroke of a pen. In that way, he would still be able to hold onto his line of sanity and refrain from breaking apart.
Unlike him.
Su Yun chuckled, reminiscing the exciting memories of his past.
Ah... good ol' times. But sadly, I don't have time to reminisce.
The curve on his lips disappeared as his expression turned serious, projecting the usual calm and indifferent look.
Let's get to work. It's my time to rescue the poor fellow.

It was currently lunch time. Classes that had been going on for hours finally dismissed their students. The hallway that was vacant and quiet was finally raucous as hordes of students left their lecture halls, cacophonies of their conversations and laughters rang across the building, causing the atmosphere to become unusually lively.
A petite female student came out of her class with her two friends in tow. With hair black as ebony, and lustrous ocean eyes that glimmered under the light, the small lady gave a charming and fresh impression. Her delicate skin was snow-white, untainted by the blemish of the world. Her lips were not especially full, but its shape was beautiful. Her face beamed in a smile, revealing the dimples on her cheeks as she was engrossed in the conversation.
The two female students walking behind her ran to catch up to her fast pace. Their faces revealed their interest in their new classmate.
"So what's your name again?" one of the girls by the side asked. Her deep brown eyes sparkled as they looked towards the beautiful young lady she just met. "I've never seen someone with green eyes before. Are you sure you're not a foreigner?"
The petite young lady looked amused at her friend's question, not in the slightest bit offended by her rude remark, "No, I'm not a foreigner, that is, as far I have knowledge of. My parents died when I was still a baby, so I don't really remember them. And as for my name, nice to meet you, I'm Lian An."
