Xie Zhang had been waiting for the perfect chance to strike Qi Cheng down. He laid low for 3 months, cooking up some malicious plans against his enemy and relishing at the thought of Qi Cheng begging him to let him go.
In actual fact, Xie Zhang knew he did not have the patience to wait that long just to fuck someone up, but if not for a certain someone's orders, he wouldn't have done so.
It all started when he met that youngster for the first time of his life. He still remembered the heinous smile on that person's face as he said the following words.
"This time lay low for a while, and when that fucking dog doesn't expect it, strike him down. I want you to finish him once and for all. Doesn't matter if a hundred bystanders came in knocking—Kill. Them. All. Do you get it?"
Sometimes, Xie Zhang wondered how could such a harmless looking youngster have such wicked thoughts brewing inside his head.
But as a follower, the rule Xie Zhang most remembered was to not question orders. Questioning your orders meant doubting your superiors and those people hated being doubted.
And so, he executed that man's orders, steeling his heart to not make any mistake.
Xie Zhang watched as the young man he had been waiting for opened the door to the abandoned building, his face was dark and a sheen of sweat was on his forehead due to speeding his car to get here as fast as possible.
"Oh, look who has arrived..." Xie Zhang welcomed him.
With every heavy step that Qi Cheng walked, his tone turned heavier as he replied, "Where. Is. He."
"Ah.. that young doctor? He's somewhere safe." Xie Zhang smiled, his expression was of innocence as if his acts of inflicting pain to the person in question did not happen a few hours before.
Qi Cheng, who did not know the truth had his eyebrows eased, half-believing the man in front of him, "Let him go. I'm here just the way you want it. He got nothing to do with this."
Xie Zhang smirked, "I'll be truthful to you, you little bastard. I hate you with every ounce of my being ever since we met that day behind the school building— you can call it fate because your feelings for me aren't that different either. I know how much you wish you had ended my life that day.
As for my reason for doing this? Well, part of it came from orders, and a part of it from personal grudges. It all became into one thought, where I wish I could bury you 5 feet under the earth as I stomped on your fucking grave.
As for that young doctor you talked about? I'll let him go— that is, after we beat you up real nice." As Xie Zhang said that, a few dozens of thugs walked out of the shadows.
"Let's see if you can escape this time."
His smile disappeared as his order fell, "Kill him."
The tension broke as the few dozens of thugs charged towards him, following the order with a sneering grin on their faces.
Qi Cheng knew the situation was completely unfavorable to him, yet his past experiences had trained him to not cower and show his weaknesses.
