Slowly and quietly, the three of us make our way down the corridors of the dark and dusty cave.

After informing Six and Sam of where Nine's Chest should be, we find our way to the room past the Piken and Krauls.

Sitting on a stone pedestal, is an intricately carved wooden Chest similar to John's, the only difference being the Loric symbol on its surface.

Sam grabs the Chest and keeps it under an arm.

We continue through the long hallways in search for the prison cells, evading mogs wherever we can, but mostly slipping past them as quiet as a mouse.

There is no sign of Malcolm, Sam's father. I can tell Sam is getting discouraged though before I have the chance to say something, we find Nine sitting cross-legged on the back wall of his cell, shirtless.

There's a blue force field separating us from him. As well as a panel next to his cell on the right, which must keep the force field activated. Sam, being the most educated with technology, turns it off. Apparently, it's not too hard to disable because a few taps and swipes on the touchscreen panel and the blue force field disappears.

However, as soon as it fades, a loud shrieking alarm sounds off and several red lights flash in the hallway.

Nine hops down from the wall, flipping dramatically and landing perfectly on his feet.

"About time. Who are you guys?" Nine says cheerily, setting his long, black hair off to the side and stepping out of the cell.

"I'm Number Six. This is Emily and Sam; they're human." Six replies, introducing us.

"Good job staying alive Number Six. I'm Number Nine. So, are we going to go introduce ourselves to some mogs or not?" Nine says eagerly with a smirk on his face.

None of us respond.

Nine takes his Chest out from under Sam's arm and unlocks it, pulling out a gold pen. He clicks it once and it extends outward into a long pipe staff, startling all three of us.

Nine's smile widens and his brown eyes glisten with fresh eagerness.

"Oh I missed you," he says to the staff.

Just as a dozen Mogadorians come running at us from the east end of the hallway, does Nine charge up the wall onto the ceiling, marching straight towards the enemy.

Six emits a slight groan and grabs both mine and Sam's hands. Thus turning us invisible.

We begin making our way out of the cave, with Nine in the lead. Nine seems to be taking great pleasure in swinging his pipe staff through any mog that gets in his way, laughing maniacally.

We follow close behind him.

After running for at least half a mile until we're out of the cave, we regroup and introduce Nine to the others.

"So, where are we heading now? Chicago?" asks Nine once all is over and settled.

Everyone gives him a questioning look, possibly wondering why he named Chicago. Of course, I know why, but I ignore it, and instead fill him in on the next part of the plan.

"India. To find Number Eight," I state.
