There is darkness.

I am floating in a mass abyss.

Nothing around me but empty space.

No people to hold. No one to seek guidance from. No urgent matters to attend to.

In a way, it is peaceful.

"This is what it feels like to be dead," I think.

But no.

This is not some heavenly place.

This is not the end of my journey.

Strangely, I still feel connected.

Connected to the way the Entity bonded to me before I went down.

My Eneration flows from my fingertips to the rest of my body.

"Lorien? Five? Pixie?" I call out, my voice carrying an echo through the blackness.

I do not receive an answer.

It is quiet.

I am alone.

"Please! Someone! Say something!" I shout, a need to feel a presence.

Then in the distance, appears a light.

Small at first but gradually getting larger.

Until it is hovering in front of my heart.

It is blue, like that of my legacy, and it glows brightly despite the strange dim space I am in.

I reach out to touch it, and when I do, the tip of my index finger tingles with warm energy.

I have a sense of what this is.

"Lorien? Is that you?"

The voice that responds is the same one I've heard last.

Calming. Gentle. Guiding. Divine.

The voice of Lorien.

"Yes child," it answers. I don't know what to say; so I remain quiet. "Thank you for your assistance young one. I could not have done that without you."

"You're welcome," I respond modestly.

It feels a little strange talking to a god-like Entity like this. I feel like I should pay my respect to it, but I don't know how to in this void of empty darkness.

"What's going on? Am I... dead?" I ask, my voice soft.

"Death is a mere inconvenience dear," it answers. "I brought you here, in a dream-like world. To discuss the future."

"The future?"

"Yes," it says. "Setrákus Ra lives. With the Anubis destroyed, he has retreated back to West Virginia. He still poses as a dangerous threat."
