Y/n's pov

The game started and I started watching it with my full attention. And when Hinata did his quick I loved the way the other team looked at him in shock. We were getting points but sooner enough Nekoma's coach called a timeout. Now, this could be a hic-up, from their scheming captain and their brain.

I couldn't help but shift in my seat when they shifted their players to basically single Hinata out, most would try to block out the ace. But with Kageyamas insane coordination and Hinatas speed that would be their best choice. To the naked eye, it may be hard to see why this plane is the ideal formation, I'm assuming this was Kenma's doing.

Both teams are doing well. I was pretty impressed with Kageyama's line shot, I didn't really know he could spike a ball with such permission. But in volleyball, there is no room for a one-trick pony.

Kenma and Kei both think things out, but I'm assuming that Kenma has already made a plan to ajust his playing.

Of course, I mentally facepalm when I see Kenma lead Kei on. And that's another point for Nekoma. Nekoma's setter can excel because his receivers are golden, especially mama Yaku. But there's one thing that still bothers me, I don't know whos gonna win.

I watch as Hinata gets ready to jump but since Nekoma is keeping a watchful eye when he goes to spike it, it gets blocked and the set goes to Nekoma. The team comes back over and they speak briefly, but no surprise there since its just a practice match and were still tryna figure things out.

I don't bother saying anything since I'm still tryna think, and once the whistle blows I sit back down on the bench. I continue to take notes, trying to figure things out. But what catches my eye is when Hinata goes up to spike his eyes were open.

"Timeout," I say even before he trys to make a swing for it.

"Whu-" Ukai start but then he notices after he swings. "Timeout he calls,"

I quickly open my notebook and start writing things down. "He needs to ajust his sets, less badass more I'm a normal setter," I say not looking up from my notebook.

As I said before, I'm serious about volleyball. No stripper jokes... well maybe a few at times. I don't really listen to what Coach says t the team because I already gave my input.

"What are you writing?" Takeda asks. "It's in English," he says surprised.

"It's faster than writing the Japanese characters," I say. "And I'm trying to figure out who will win, I already had an idea at the start but I'm getting surprised, maybe confused,"

"Well I don't have a clue what's going on here," Takeda says. "But I'll act like I do,"

The whistle blows again and both teams head back onto the court to resume the match.

I nearly snort when Kei taunts Hinata, I would add on to it but I don't wanna get beat or something.

I continue to watch the match intently as they play on, every time I think I figure things out someone pulls out a move. Hinata almost pulling of some badass move and powerful spikes from both sides. Why can't everyone be good or bad, it would be easier that way, for my sanity.

"He's scheming," I mutter.

"What?" Ukai asks.

"He's not smirking," I say. "He's gonna start rac-," I start but stop when Tetsuro gets his point. "Why is my brain hurting?" I facepalm.

Ukai encourages the team and we start making some good plays. The power start showing and Kei's blocks are pretty spot on too. (yeah I re-read this and I don't understand either)
