"(__), wake up! Varian is-"
As soon as you hear Varian's name you shoot up and get ready.
"Woah! We should say he's here more often." Cass smirks.
"I'm just excited that's all! I mean how long is it since we spent a day just me and him?"
"Uh, every week?" Cass looks confused.
"Yeah, but this is different..."
You hear a knock on the door.
"Come in."
Varian walks in, "Hey! Are you ready?" He sees Cass next to you, "Oh hello, Milady." He bows.
"Ugh, for the 24th time no."
You roll your eyes annoyed.
You hear a loud crash.
"Fitzherbert! Get off my stuff!" Cass storms out.
"C'mon, let's just go." You pull him out of your room.
"Do you think the 25th time will work?" Varian asks.
"Probably not, just like the first ten times didn't work." You change the subject.
"So what are we doing today?" You ask.
"I'm glad you asked 'cause I have the perfect day planned!" He grins.
"And what is that?"
"Oh, you'll see..." he smirks.
"Tell mee! Otherwise, I'll take your goggles." You smile sneakily.
"How could you take my goggles when they're on my head?" He puts his hand on his head. "Hey, where did they-"
You smirk and swing the goggles on your finger. "How can I what, V?"
"Oh, very funny..." he pouts but smiles after.
"You gotta catch me if you want them!" You giggle and run off out of the castle.
"How can I catch up with you?!" Varian chases you out of the castle gates.
You running as fast as you can trying to find a good spot to hide in.
Well, that's until you feel your feet stuck to the ground. You look down to see pink gunk covering your feet.
"You cheater!" You shout.
"It wasn't cheating, you didn't say anything about using alchemy did ya?" He smirks.
"You still cheated..." you pout.
"Alright I cheated but I still got ya." He takes his goggles off you and uses the neutralizer.
"Now how about a picnic? But I've got a perfect place for us." He grins.
"Alright!" You smile.
You look at Varian then start to sing.
"End of May or early June
This picture-perfect day we'll share."
Varian picks you up onto his back and starts singing while walking, "Walking the winding country road
Grab a candy at Monty's shop
And then we're there."
He continues to sing,
"An open field that's framed with trees
We pick a spot and shoot the breeze
Like buddies do."
